Camping on the edge of New Athos. All the interesting things are within walking distance. There is a dining room right on the beach. The camping has 220 sockets, clean toilets, hot shower, washbasin (taps with water, mirror) WiFi. Despite the fact that the campsite is next to the road, cars are almost inaudible. You can use a motorhome, you can use a car with a tent. I recommend.

We were at this campsite literally for two nights and out of season - in early May 2023, in October 2023 and in May 2024. A convenient place - you can walk to the monastery, to the cave and to the fortress, without taking a taxi. In October, the cafe was still open (it's not the season anymore) - everything is very tasty, as everywhere in Abkhazia. We spent the night in tents, but there are cabins and motorhomes. If you are a "savage", then there are showers on the territory with always hot water, a toilet, washbasins on the street with mountain water (you can also use it for cooking, by the way). The territory is clean, this year, apparently, they stopped letting cows on the beach, so there were no cow cakes - this is a huge plus. But, again, in 2023 we were not in the "season", so perhaps the beach would have been cleaned for the influx of tourists in June-August. The hosts are always in touch, helping to solve any problems. There is Wi-Fi, but it loses its power closer to the boundaries of the site. But this is not critical.

Clean beach, excellent camping with everything you need - sockets for charging, hot shower (!), guarded territory, cameras all around, it's not scary to leave a tent, refrigerators for food, near the dining room and the city center, clear sea and beautiful sunsets. You can stay in a motorhome.

My opinion is the opinion of a person who loves silence and beautiful nature. So it's subjective.
The campsite is located very close to the sea. This is both a plus and a minus, because on the one hand it is beautiful, on the other, it is very noisy. When the sea is quietly making noise in the distance, it's great, but when it hits you with noise on the head 24 hours a day, it's not pleasant.
There is also a highway passing overhead and cars in the campsite can also be heard... along with the sea.
According to the amenities, it is good enough for this money. 2 showers, 2 toilets with Genoa bowls, where my child refused to go. I had to run for 5 minutes to a paid toilet with a normal toilet bowl.
There is a place for washing dishes.
Free refrigerators.
Wi-Fi is normal.

Auto Camping is perfectly located! Almost in the center of New Athos. Accept cars at any time! Parking for campers and motorhomes is flat, grass and pebbles are paved. There is an electricity connection, you can replenish the water with hoses.
The toilet and shower with hot water are clean! It can be washed for an additional fee.
The beach is pebbly, clean, two steps from the parking lot. There is a cafe, the food is good! They work even in the evening, almost everything is closed on the central square at 20 o'clock.

My wife and I are lovers of traveling by car. In August 2023, we arrived in Abkhazia for the first time. Miraculously, we found this camping and were fascinated. The tent cities are small, right on the seashore. Very romantic! The living conditions are comfortable, equipped and clean showers and toilets. Shower with hot water. Refrigerators in the August heat were very useful! There are enough outlets, the area is illuminated by lanterns. Everything is cleaned and repaired on time. Even at customs I bought a local SIM card, on which for 700 rubles there was no Internet from the word at all, so the presence of WiFi in the campsite just saved! All New Athos attractions, shops, etc. are within walking distance, the rest is within easy reach by car. I really liked it, we will definitely come here again!

Camping under the track and the sounds of the track are audible. It didn't bother me, but someone was indignant. As well as the noise of the sea, it is difficult to fall asleep. On the contrary, I really liked the sounds of the sea.
Wi-Fi floats strangely, that is, no, if you are standing on the edges of the campsite, then it is not a fact that you will have it.
The showers themselves are a little scary, and they could use a redecoration.
2 showers and 2 toilets are sometimes very small.
The garbage dump in the form of construction debris is somehow annoying. But again, if you live at the very entrance.
Otherwise, I'm happy with the camping. You live a 5-minute walk from the village center. All the sights are nearby. I went on 1 excursion a day

We were here at the end of June 2023, the best camping I have ever seen in Abkhazia. The beach is clean, the campsite staff regularly clean it and keep it clean. There is WiFi, a clean shower with hot water (cleaned every morning, always clean), toilet and washbasins. On the territory, there are sockets for use and video surveillance on each pole , after 23:00 no one is quietly brawling. The owners said they will expand this summer. Next summer, only here!

Kamarit Camping is located on the Black Sea coast, at the entrance to the city of New Athos.
Nearby there are shops, souvenir and grocery markets, a pharmacy, numerous cafes and a canteen.
All the sights of New Athos are within walking distance.
The cost of renting a parking space is 500 rubles,
the cost of living in a tonar is 1000 rubles,
the cost of living in a house varies from season to season :

We have been to several campsites in Abkhazia and this one is the most disgusting. Yes, everything is there, but the attitude... Neither hello, nor goodbye. The gates are closed after 18:00, that is, if you want to go somewhere (night fishing, night walk in another city), leaving a tent, then they simply won't let you out, with aggressive words - "I have to open and close the gates to you, go on foot." We have been to campsites with less amenities, but with this attitude, no amenities will help brighten up the experience. They asked for either a campsite or a hotel, they didn't even offer a hotel, they immediately sent them to a campsite, although they wanted to stay in a hotel more. In general, not a foot here anymore.

Well, this.. As camping is probably normal..
But definitely not for people who want privacy and nature. People are sitting on top of each other. There is nowhere to turn around at all. At 5 a.m., the kids start yelling, so everyone wakes up. Moreover, right above you is a road that makes noise and does not let you sleep at night, and a lantern that shines in your eye.
If you like to live in a crowd of people, then camping is good. Water, shower, toilet, refrigerator, sockets - everything is there.
After one such night, we just took our little tent and went to hell from there on the beach and slept there. Because it's unrealistic...
PS Didn't leave because they just didn't have the strength to look for a new place. And soon I had to go home.
About prices... Well, it's probably normal for Abkhazia.
900 rubles a day.
But if we compare that we rented accommodation in Crimea with a condo, our toilet, shower, balcony, a huge kitchen -terrace. A balcony and all this for 1200....a day FOR EVERYTHING. (NOT FOR A PERSON) then you understand ...

We stayed here for two days at the end of July 2023, a family of 3 people + a car. The cost is 900 rubles/day. for everyone.
+ The sea is nearby, we walked to New Athos. There was always hot water in the showers. The showers and toilets were washed every morning. There was always paper in the toilet, too. There are refrigerators. There is a working wifi. There is a shadow if you are lucky with the place. There is an electrical outlet on each pole.

Perhaps the best car camping in Abkhazia. It is located at the entrance to New Athos, it is very convenient to walk into the city, especially since there are many different attractions nearby. Good camping, I recommend it!
We stayed there for a week. The territory is quite large. As we understood, this year the influx of tourists was greater than usual, so people were settled right on the pebble beach. We were not against it - 3 steps and the sea 🙂
Guarded Parking, refrigerators, toilet (there is room to grow, of course, but tolerable), hot shower, washbasin, wi-fi (in the end, the truth stopped connecting, my husband is fine).
The atmosphere was very friendly. Nothing was stolen in a week, which is important. In the end, they even stopped putting chairs, a table and small things in the tent. But any people from the city beach can walk along the coastline to the campsite, keep this in mind.
The administrator is certainly interesting. We didn't see him sober, but we also saw him very drunk, we always change him, but this imposes its own characteristics.
The campsite was always quiet after 22:00, even after Independence Day.
We chose a campsite based on a review, it was one of the best. We wanted to change a couple more places, but we ended up staying here.

Camping: the best we've been to. We rented a trailer. Everything except the toilet and shower is in the trailer. There are toilets and shower rooms on site. Clean, new. There was always hot water. There is a table and benches in front of the trailer under the canopy. Very emotional! There are not many people living, so the atmosphere is quite intimate. Our children became friends with the children of vacationers and had a lot of fun.
The sea is very close, 15 meters away. Silence.
The owner of this campsite is a great fellow! He tries, he constantly does something, he is not a white-handed person. When we were there, flower beds were laid out, land was brought in, and landscaping was done in one day. Modest, but noticeable.
We had a very good rest. We will be happy to come again!
I'm not going to any other campsite anymore! Only there!

I didn't like it at all. Everything was unkempt, toilet paper from the communal toilets disappeared on the second day. The toilets themselves are like in the USSR, holes in the floor. Especially girls are "very comfortable". Above the sink, where you can wash your face and wash the dishes, there is a bush, because of which you need to bend to go to the sink (I'm still short). Is it really impossible to tie up everything somehow or trim the branches? There is no shade, you need to take an awning with you. Beautiful views, the sea is two steps away and can be seen from the tent. But unkempt. Although there are people who like it there and have been traveling for several years. Perhaps we got to the wrong caretaker, there was some new person (as the locals said), some kind of muddy :D But we're definitely not going there anymore.
