I do not know who rates this hotel at 5 stars.
1st, the staff is very slow, they do not know English well, they settle with braking.
The 2nd is not particularly welcomed upon arrival, they are not attentive, there are tents laid out on the floors and in the elevators in the lobby, which terribly prevents the import and export of suitcases!
The 3rd rooms are old, everything is shabby! In the bathrooms in the two rooms that we were given, the hoses of the shower heads were torn off! The water is splashing in all directions! Hygiene supplies are placed like in 3-star hotels! The only thing that pleased me was Korean shampoos, conditioner and shower gel!
4th, the food is ugly! There is basically nothing for breakfast!!!!! And it was noticed not only by us, but also by tourists from other countries! No fruit, no hot, no porridge! And even there were no buns for coffee and tea!!!
on the 5th, 3 hours before our departure from the hotel, we decided to have time to go buy fruits and sweets at the store, while leaving a do not disturb card on the door, and when we returned we found a cleaner in our room, everything would be fine, of course, but we did it we didn't expect it at all, as we were already packing for the road and there were open suitcases in the room! And judge for yourself, when you leave a Request not to Disturb , then accordingly you do not plan that you will be disturbed!
Outrageous!
And by the way, the room cleaning is successful!
For 5 nights, we have never had the bed linen changed in two rooms, besides, they can't even make the bed properly!
The pillows are terrible, the rags are synthetic!
We lived on the 25th floor, the view is good, but taking into account the + 20 temperature outside, it was terribly cold in the rooms, as it blew out of the cracks of the windows!
In general, Shanghai is wonderful, I advise everyone to visit, but I do not recommend this hotel to anyone at all!!!!
