A great little hotel, nicer than many others, not 5 stars, but quiet, peaceful, cozy. The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator and air conditioning, the main thing is comfortable and wide beds, not Spartan, the prices are just anti-crisis, taking into account the Genius discount from Booking, they are generally excellent. There were no foreign odors in the room, very important! The location is convenient, there are a lot of things around and nearby, shops, cafes, etc. In general, not at the edge of the world. They greet us kindly, and see us off the same way. We came to Almaty for work and were satisfied. I recommend it as a budget accommodation option for business trips!

When visiting Almaty, we stayed at this institution, we needed to be closer to the venue of the competition, the price suited us, the building is clean, there is a bathroom in every room, the dining room is good (thanks to the chefs), shops and a public transport stop are within walking distance.

There are rooms where the TV does not work. The showers in the rooms are not very comfortable. There is no cafe, or rather there is, but takeaway food.
Pros there are air conditioners.

We got to the hotel at night and the kind receptionist (forgot to ask for the name) settled us for half the price, for which I thank her very much. That's where the advantages ended. There are beds and bedside tables in the room. We didn't need a TV. It was terribly cold at night (early May, as usual). Only sheets and thin bedspreads were available. Everyone froze and woke up with a runny nose. At night, guests or staff were talking loudly on the floor. We didn't get enough sleep and we were cold. In the morning, the administrator poured boiling water, did not let him die.

Russian citizens are charged a commission of + 5% to the price at the booking, which I already found out at the reception, a trifle, but not pleasant, a couple of cockroaches (dead and alive) were found in the roomIn, san.the knot is shabby, especially the floor, it is not pleasant to walk without slippers, only one small towel per person is given upon check-in, the beds are sagged in the shape of a boat, the furniture as a whole is very tired. Of the advantages, I would like to note a low price, the presence of air conditioning in the room, a shop across the street, a sauna in the same building as the hotel, friendly staff.

Everything is old, the beds are washed, you need to wait 5 minutes for hot water after turning on the tap. They charged an additional 5 percent for the service, because we are from Russia. A red cockroach immediately met us on the threshold, alive, there were 2 more dead under the bed. But there is a plus, the price is not expensive))
