Pilaf is dry and barely warm. They probably cooked it in the morning and served the leftovers.
For such prices, it would be worth warning about the quality of pilaf at the end of the day, because most tourists in Uzbekistan will order it.
The mantas were delicious. The lamb kebab is delicious, but some of the pieces were rubbery. The chicken kebab was delicious and juicy.
In any teahouse in Moscow, pilaf and salad will be tastier and even cheaper by half.

On January 1, when 99% of Uzbekistan's restaurants ignore the tourist flow (i.e. are closed), this is one of the best places to dine in Tashkent. The prices are 2-3 from a simple restaurant, but this is justified by the quality of the dishes, service and the fact that the institution works for its guests.
