We went on an excursion to this enterprise in July 2024. I really liked it! A great tour, my daughter was delighted. After the tour, a sweet table that was bursting with goodies. They were accepted as relatives in the literal sense of the word. We were given everything we didn't eat, despite the fact that all the participants of the tour were presented with gifts. In general, I recommend to visit the excursion to the Bakery # 5 in Minsk! It will be interesting!
My son ordered a set of cakes for Christmas, a classic 1.5 kg dessert. The cost is 48 rubles. Remembering from my childhood, how delicious these cakes were!!!! I wanted to treat my son (our grandson) to the tastes of my childhood for Christmas. Well, my grandfather and I are shooting sparrows, we went on a reconnaissance mission, to the bakery itself, to the Karavai store, in the morning, so that everything was fresh and bought this set ahead of time, to taste it, so as not to lose face. Well, what can I say? Everyday experience , as always, did not disappoint.
To say that the cakes were tasteless and of poor quality is to compliment them! They were DISGUSTING and of the lowest quality!!!!!! The whole set had a peanut "flavor," even though it shouldn't have at all. Peanuts shouldn't be there a priori, well, maybe a little bit in the "Potatoes". The lemon rolls were not lemon - the barely yellowish edge did not strike either sourness or sugar sprinkles. There were none at all!!!! The usual butter roll. The chocolate sponge cakes were chocolate not only in taste, but also in color - something light brownish, like poorly brewed coffee. Brownies on cookies with chocolate cream (the most delicious) couldn't boast of the same cream - something watery and tasteless. The "potatoes" were sticky and sweet, which made my cheekbones ache.....and that was it!!!!! Well , there 's only two climaxes !!!!!!! (why is unclear) a number of custard eclairs. I must say right away, as a catering technologist with 40 years of experience, there were clearly not enough eggs in the eclair dough. The eclairs were tough, and in some places they even crunched, but you didn't have to think about the soft, stringy dough. And coupled with the disgusting filling in the form of a bun of boiled condensed milk, and in the second row again the watery and not at all creamy taste of the cream - it was a very disgusting-tasting dish!!!!!! In short, after trying a little bit of everything to be objective, they threw this obscenity to the crows. But they didn't show much enthusiasm either!!!! It's a pity, a pity, and a pity - such a powerful degradation compared to Soviet products. And, by the way, the price is quite higher compared to pensions now and then!!!!!!Shame on you Bakery No. 5. You need to drive your technologist in three necks. And one more question- where are the eggs that were not placed in the custard dough?
May bread is definitely the best here. And after the renovation, the cooking became quite decent
Plus, the staff is always polite
for fresh bread (and not only) I recommend you to visit
