they baptize with the names that are on the church list, not the ones you want, but the ones that are available. And they do not go to someone else's monostyr with their own rules, there must be an understanding that there is a certain order in the church. People make claims to themselves and only to themselves. Do not write reviews, but come to the consultation and clarify everything. And if you want to live by phone, then baptize by phone. When I come to church, I come to God first of all, and not to give an assessment to the rector
In the temple, the attendants can be harsh. But it was within the walls of this temple that I came to God for real. Through humiliation and suffering. There is something secret in this temple. He'll show you everything. If you want to believe in God, humble yourself and go there.
A small church, in a pond (for those who know Gomel) in a rather calm, picturesque place, there is a lake nearby. There is a garden with various garden figures on the territory of the temple. Unusual. Surprisingly. It is remembered.
We really like this church. It's very cozy. They baptized their children and nephew there! The territory there is very beautiful, green, in flowers, there is a canopy in case of rain.
A very blessed place, cozy, quiet, family and homely, warm in the soul. All the Fathers are very humane, there are no " very busy" or "just not today" Fathers. you can talk and get advice . God bless you all🙏 long life to the Father Abbot, Father Dimitri🙏
I absolutely did not like the staff at the church!!! I do not recommend it!!! We were going to baptize the child, we made an appointment by phone. The child does not have an Orthodox name for baptism, they chose another one and named him. The woman who took the order said that they usually baptize with a consonant name, but recorded us without any problems. When everyone gathered on the right day, the circus began. After paying for the procedure, we were called to the priest (Father Alexander). He said that if we do not want to baptize with a consonant name, then we need to change the birth certificate, otherwise he will not baptize. The question "Why?" was answered: "We have such rules!". After I asked, "Who do you have?" he threw a hysterical "Goodbye", just turned around and rushed to the church. There was no attempt to explain their position clearly, nor to explain why other churches were doing this. The women who accepted the payment rushed to clarify whether we agree to their terms, since we have already paid for everything. Nevertheless, it was necessary to baptize, since the godfather came from another country for a few days, the godmother from another city. As a result, it is a spoiled holiday, and the maximum negative from the church workers!!! Moreover, after the baptism, we were told that if there had been another priest, we would also have been scolded for not doing this ceremony for up to 40 days!!!What kind of nonsense is this? Maybe Lula has different circumstances?!!I still don't understand, couldn't I have immediately warned by phone that there are such rules in the church?! Is it really the desire to earn more than a normal attitude towards people?! Who does the priest think he is who allowed himself to behave like this, does he belong there?!By the way, the eldest child was baptized on the Soviet side, they were very happy with everything, especially the priest! I am the godmother of several children myself, but this has never happened!!! And here there is just a maximum of negativity!!!!
In my opinion, the most cozy place in Gomel of the temples. Here we baptized our children, here we got married with our spouse. The servants of the temple are mostly responsive and pleasant
It is small, but very cozy, and after visiting it there is a feeling of lightness and fulfillment. The surrounding area is very well maintained, it is good to walk with the children. We baptized the child and so we visit, although we ourselves live on the other side of the city.
Cozy, beautiful temple. The surrounding area is well maintained. All the Fathers are sociable.

The church is good, but...
before the baptism, I was interviewed by Archpriest Dimitri. It was a shock. The conversation began with the mention of the fact of the death of people, mostly children, on Nemiga in 1999, and the result was the phrase that you should not feel sorry for the dead, because they were without a cross (this, according to him, was established by one of the fathers, having visited hospitals)! After that, the rector of the temple expressed the idea that Jews are "bad people", Freemasons, etc., the Catholic Church is only engaged in "gay marriage weddings", etc. Most of the conversation was devoted to politics, insulting political opponents (the rector used the word "morons" 20 times, as well as drug addicts, parasites), approving violence and the wish of a life prison sentence for these people. Passports, bank cards...- it's from a demon, because there are numbers, passwords, although cash is fine. They try to chip all people by implanting a chip, or just saying words, encode them. Coronavirus is a biological weapon, then nothing serious, people die mainly from fear, it's bad to get vaccinated. A separate part was devoted to curses, etc., from some mother-in-law to a daughter-in-law who went blind, etc. The abbot used his interpretation of the Bible, sometimes claiming that one son of Adam killed the second, and for this he was killed soon (although it is said that God, having expelled Cain, put a sign on him so that no one would kill him), then referring to scripture, anticipated the imminent greatness of one of the neighboring countries, which "will be it will only last 5 years," and then the world will end. And so on and so on. How it all relates to the sacrament of baptism, I do not understand. We approached the duties of godparents only at the end of the conversation, devoting no more than a minute. There was one positive moment in the conversation when the abbot talked about his past, about gaining faith. It was inspiring. If the conversation consisted only of these 10 minutes, or better yet, about kindness, humanity, faith. Of course, faith was talked about, but in a strange, frightening way. I have never met a clergyman who speaks and carries so much dark stuff.

A cozy, prayer temple. And it's beautiful around the temple.
I visit regularly with my children and grandchildren, everything is well-arranged for people, beautiful services, attentive priests, well-groomed territory and proximity to home.
A very calm and cozy Orthodox church, surrounded by greenery. The place is suitable for prayer and meditation on the eternal. It is pleasant to perform baptismal rites here.
