If we talk about significant events in the village of Kholmy over the past 30 years, then I would note 3: the bailout of our long-suffering factory by BelAZ, the opening of the Church of Saints Joachim and Anna and the closure of the Kirov beer bar, the most evil place on Earth. How many families has this Moloch destroyed, is it difficult to count? No wonder the women of the village ironically called it "Weeping Willow". As for the Temple, it is located in a very convenient and accessible place for the layman. I like him for his solitude, the absence of "beggars" standing with their hand outstretched and then spending this money on alcohol, or giving it to the "helmsman". I do not go to the Temple during the service, as the local old women hiss, swear and do not even allow candles to be put on. I don't believe that real believers can be so angry. Those who were brought up in the faith from a young age do not do this. And former harlots, squabblers and Gossips hiss and swear. When they got old , they quickly changed their shoes, ate under the saints and began to teach others. Let them remember their youth. I hinted this to my relative, a militant Orthodox Christian. She replied that she had begged for her sins. When I asked how she found out about it, there was no answer, but she held a grudge against me. I think there is hardly a person who can categorically say that he does not believe in God. We all believe, each in his own way , but we believe. Personally, I only disbelieve priests when I look at their smug, well-fed faces. At one ritual event, the priest who came to the funeral service began to teach us that we should strive to get to heaven for everyone. I could not stand it and replied that there was not enough room for everyone , and only the most worthy would go to Heaven, one hundred and forty-four thousand from each tribe , as stated in the Bible. After that, he blew his nose for 15 minutes , dissatisfied with my statement. I go to the Temple when there are few people , put candles for my relatives, then I just reflect, evaluate my actions, where I am right and where I am wrong. The very atmosphere in the Temple contributes to spiritual purification, even if you are just in it. During church holidays, there are so many people that they can't get through. A good and necessary institution.
