The Ascension Church in Lyakhovichi was built in 1818. This wooden temple, which rises on the southern outskirts of the village, consists of the main volume, which has an octagonal shape, an altar apse and the so-called babynets. According to its architectural features, it is close to the traditions of folk architecture. The most noticeable decorative element is a faceted drum topped with a bulbous head.
