Beautiful gates in the old, majestic Soviet style. Similar as in Moscow, VDNKH, Kiev... They probably built them in many cities.
If I'm not mistaken, these were built for some kind of large-scale exhibition that took place on the territory immediately behind them (somewhere in the late 60s or early. the 70s).
