We spent our honeymoon here with my husband in June 2024.
We chose by location: near the famous beach and various city attractions.
The place is perfect👌🏻
Upon arrival, a gift was left in our room: a bottle of wine, fruits and flower petals on the bed.
I will not say that the linen was perfectly clean. Well, that's a surprise. Towels were changed upon request.
Cleaning was not requested every day.
As newlyweds, we were given a corner room so that no one would be embarrassed. The audibility between the numbers is palpable. The Windows were on the street - the street itself is quiet, opposite another hotel is being renovated (only noisy work during the day).
The hotel staff are friendly, smiling, joking. They printed out the documents for us for free. They allowed me to bring food to my room when I had a migraine and helped my husband make me fresh kiwi fruit.
The main person for customer contact is Natalia. He speaks different languages, helps solve problems, tells you where to go and where to buy what for how much. She is also responsible for the SPA area, through her you can sign up for a hammam. For $ 35 per person, they can do a steam hammam with massage, I highly recommend it
For food. There are 6 meals: breakfast, lunch, snacks, sweets and tea, dinner, night soup. You will definitely not stay hungry. The bar is open from morning to night unlimited. There is always something eggy for breakfast, they can fry scrambled eggs or an omelet with you. One type of porridge, a lot of cheeses, a couple of types of sausages, vegetables, pastries and various jams.
For lunch, 1-2 types of soup, several types of protein foods, a couple of side dishes, vegetables in different variations. For dinner, they always grill something, for our 10 days there were 2 fish, 2 kebabs, once meat as for shawarma, well, all sorts of wings, etc.
There are always many variations of dairy products and desserts.
Several types of fruits / berries, as I understand it, according to the season. We got to watermelons, melons, cherries, apples and pears.
But when it was time for tea and sweets, we came across pastries with mold. I said this to the bartender, passed it to the manager, then I only saw how fresh packs were opened.
It's good that the pool is small, and part of the time in the shade - you can splash in it when it's hot, and you don't want to expose your skin to the sun.
There is usually no noise. All visitors are adults or with adult children. I didn't see anyone very drunk either.
The only significant disadvantage was that apart from soap, there were no more cosmetics in the rooms. For a hotel that positions itself as a 4*, this is not very good. Perhaps this is normal for package tours, I don't know. Just be ready to use your all.
Water is brought in bottles every day and there is filtered water on the bar, stock up on reusable bottles, we saved so much on buying water in the city.
Overall impressions are positive🫶🏻
Good value for money. The food is normal, delicious scrambled eggs in the morning. We could change the towels more often. The location is convenient for walking, the beach is also nearby. You can take a cable car (for money) to the fortress. There is a good Smak cafe nearby (coffee, desserts, pastries).
Cleopatra Atlas is a good hotel for a relaxing holiday, there are many pensioners from Germany and Poland. The staff is polite, the food is not very varied, but everything is delicious, especially the coffee from the coffee machine. The hotel has a super convenient location, the very center, Cleopatra beach, plot 1 is a two-minute walk away. I recommend it!
