We took a room for four, a room without sophistication, not everything was cleaned. Before entering, we waited about fifteen minutes for the door to be opened. In general, for such prices it was possible to do better, since there is a lot of dust, bad toilets, breakfast is prepared by the owners (or employees) and when we were there we cooked not tasty, the kitchen is shared, one for everyone. The review was left in 2019
We went to Tallinn with a young man together. We chose this small hostel. We have never regretted it. We went in February, there were few people. The interior is simple and cozy. Delicious pancakes for breakfast. The staff does not speak Russian, but basic English is enough.
Someone in the reviews complained about the cold, but our double room had a heater. They turned it on, the room was warm, even hot. Everything is decent in plumbing. Toilet, shower, everything is clean, cleaned.
If you don't have your own home shoes, then there are common rubber slippers.
The location is very convenient, almost the center of the old town, but the street is not crowded, quiet.
A good hostel in the center of Tallinn, clean, simple, comfortable beds, you can sleep, shared bathroom, were in winter and there was a heater in the room. Comfortable and warm. Breakfast-jam, honey, peanut butter, muesli, pancakes (from 8.45 to 10.00), tea, coffee, milk, bread. You can have a snack. The staff is friendly, they speak Russian and English. If you don't want to spend a lot of time on the way to the center, no doubt stay at this hostel.
After reading the negative reviews, I was madly afraid to go there. I even tried to cancel the check-in. In vain. Everything turned out so great!!!!!!! I lived on the 1st floor in a women's five-bed room (who will live with Chinese women, be careful, they steal). the toilet is next to the shower, either go up to the 2nd floor to the reception, or down the corridor to the 2nd floor. Breakfast (I don't like pancakes) is not for boys - without cheese and sausage. The living conditions are excellent. They give you a bed, towels, and keys to the locks on the lockers, a table and chairs in the room, warmth, a wide window sill, soft beds, tea, coffee, jam, honey, syrup, jam, caramel, butter - in access. On the second floor there are sofas, there is a guest computer, Russian girls Sofia and Nastya. The girls are awesome, funny, friendly, they will understand everything and find it on the computer. In general, compared to a hostel in Stockholm, it is the earth and the sky. It's better here!!!! I will stay here! And there is also an antique glass chandelier in the toilet, albeit dusty. And the towels in the toilet are terry. In general, I am happy that I was refused a refund and had to go. It's really wonderful! (For those who will fly by plane: they do not talk about registration and boarding, look at the clock yourself. Sour cream, butter, cottage cheese are not allowed, they were taken away, even with "they did not give sour cream. the liquid can only be 100 g, each package, but different and labeled. You can't carry two juices anymore. But baby puree- so please...at least 5 tubes.)
Good price-quality ratio! A small repair of the bathrooms will not hurt, there are chairs with broken legs in the kitchen. Delicious pancakes, tea, coffee, milk, cereals, jams, toasts are served for breakfast, you will not stay hungry))
The location in the center is one big plus.
Minuses:
-unreasonably high price for a hostel;
-not providing a parking space (at a high price for accommodation);
-lack of a toilet on the second floor;
- a meager nominal unappetizing breakfast...
The hostel does not take stars from the sky. But it fulfills its task. It's small but cozy. The Hostel is a bit cold. And most importantly, not expensive.
