It's a good train station. Beautiful forecourt, well-lit. Security is on the level. But, an unsafe transition to tracks 2 and 3 on rails and back. Arriving passengers are forced to walk around the station, it is very inconvenient!
The problem is getting through to the help desk by phone! I called for an hour to find out about the arrival of the train! It seemed that the station works in a share with mobile operators! The connection goes through, the balance is debited, and the help desk attendant does not pick up the phone! And so on indefinitely !

There is a Sberbank ATM at the station. I was withdrawing money from the Savings Bank card, the commission was not large. I issued the national currency tenge at an adequate exchange rate. At that time (May 1, 2022), the tenge to ruble exchange rate was 5.30. Through an ATM, according to my calculations, it turned out to be 4.90.
The station, although after repair, but the repair always continues, it is cold, the toilets do not work. The waiting room on the upper floor is not equipped. There are no points for charging the phone.
It's a good train station. I've traveled from here many times. It is quite large, there are shops and cafes. Nearby there are canteens and various cafes, a pharmacy. An ordinary city train station.
To get into the station building from Peron, you need to squeeze through narrow doors and literally almost get yourself on the X-ray tape for inspection! Is it difficult to open the second door?
There is no ramp for luggage. The staff will go to 4. The toilets are smelly and dirty. And the building itself is already old and needs to be repaired.
The station in Kokshetau is very conveniently located near a bus station and a taxi stand, as well as a fast food system called a power supply. The station itself has two floors and a basement. The round-the-clock cash desk and Wi-Fi, luggage storage and a recreation room are all functioning.
The railway station of Kokshetau leaves much to be desired. I don't know if they put a device for scanning bags and people for show or fashion. But at the same time, there is only one ticket office at the entire station!!! People stand in line, manage to go home for a snack and come back to queue. Terribly long service, the elderly are very indignant. In one word, HORROR!!!
