It's a beautiful building, but it's better to look at it in warm weather, when everything is blooming and smells. Nearby is the Chor-Su market and parking at it.
It was the largest madrasah in Bukhara, with 130 residential premises for students. 16th century. It translates as "foster brother". Now, alas, in a depressing condition, it needs repair.
It's a functioning madrasah, so you won't be able to enter. Nothing will surprise you after Samarkand

There is no beautiful conversation in the picture , but in life everything is different for such places you need to take care of , water and clean up the garbage , but no one needs it right now , it 's SAD
Kukeldash Madrasah is located on Chor-Su Square, it is a beautiful, crowded and colorful place in the capital of Uzbekistan. And this place is also called the "Old Town", but only the name remains of the old one, and the Kukeldash madrasah. The madrasah has undergone many changes during its existence, but now it has been restored, completely restored and plays the role of a spiritual educational institution. With a high entrance portal, it looks majestic and dignified, at the corners of the tower, from which believers are called to prayer, the facade is decorated with decor in gray-blue tones, two tiers of balconies, arched type with windows covered with bars from the sun, and on one of the walls the inscription "Death is inevitable, but man-made works they stay forever."...Here are the walls of this madrasah, they keep the memory and remain for centuries!........
