The parent was not allowed into the audience of the admissions committee because there was no passport. Tell me, where is this information posted on the website? I missed one shift on one day, and the other - provide a passport.
Good afternoon! Last year, our son graduated from the Polytechnic College of Grodno. When he came to college, he had serious health problems. He was lost and didn't trust anyone. Maxim needed an individual approach. We knew that this college was the best in the city. But we did not expect that the entire teaching staff would treat our son like a native person. How much understanding, love, care, kindness there was from the teachers! They are not just teachers, they are People with a capital letter! During his studies, these people helped our son to believe in himself, find friends, and gave him knowledge. The curator Irina Nikolaevna is like a mother, she worries, worries about all the students, as for her own children. Our whole family expresses its great gratitude to you, dear teachers, Svetlana Viktorovna! We will never forget what you have done for us and our son! Thank you very much!
I entered this institution (specialty PGS, group PGS-13), as in a technical school, and left college :)
The teachers were at the highest level.
A very interesting, useful and exciting period of time :)
If I were asked today where you would go after 9th grade, my answer is definitely the same :)
I graduated from this institution to become an architect.
We studied in the building on Suvorov (there are no conditions for architects, no printouts nearby, not even an elementary a4 printer in the building, no regular transport, no shops).
The dining room is a place of women offended by life, you just can't get a portion, there are kilometer-long queues for smazhenki, so they can also send you))
The administration went in the first or second year and asked what we were missing, but everything we asked for (it was elementary to seal the windows even in the locker room) was not fulfilled and stopped walking.
We studied in the main building for one year - everything was more or less good and convenient. But there was such a game going on at Suvorov...starting from the administration and ending with the training conditions, everything went through one place.
Now my favorite is the teaching staff. If you are ready to study independently and meet the inflated requirements (which the training itself does not meet in any way), then welcome.
80% of the teachers did not care about the training, mostly engaged in empty threats and "education" of 20-year-old foreheads.
Instead of expelling the laggards, the nerves of the whole group were being ruffled. Individual comrades gave grades "FOR THE ATTITUDE"))))
The team is absolutely toxic, each other is drowned in mud, gossip, etc. Many new teachers were bullied, some kind of hazing reigned (those who are older, work longer almost does not count with the young, new ones. I've been living with one thought for the last year: "When will this end?" They collected "compromising material" on some individuals in case of anything, because it was really scary because of the injustice, but fortunately it worked out.
One special education teacher could calmly talk about her life, car, and children for the WHOLE couple instead of giving a lecture. To give a practical one and not to explain, not to give an example is the norm.
Grades are not given objectively, students who cajoled teachers (fawned over) most often had +- the same marks as those who worked hard without leaving home and were not afraid of anyone.
As for the "education" itself and its relevance, it is a typical SCOOP. Nothing new, most teachers stupidly don't even know their discipline. The initiative of students has always been punished (personally, I have been underestimated many times for initiative and non-trivial decisions, since independent people appreciated the diploma). An example of a scoop: one teacher checks part of the explanatory note ONLY in the printed version, the rest are calmly on the laptop and say what to fix. Endless running around and a lot of unnecessary actions.
I remind you, I'm only talking about the Department of architecture and Vocational Education (ahahah, ironic, isn't it?).
Also, there was TOTAL disorganization in college, to the point that no one on the diploma knew how to sign the main inscriptions in the pp. VERY little attention was paid to special displays (designs, information networks (programs in which we did projects, we studied ourselves by digging into mistakes), engineering graphics were led by an ignorant teacher, the interior too, etc.), but they were scolded for all sorts of paintings, batiks, layouts (they were not useful in any way in designing and the technology of teaching them leaves much to be desired).
A huge number of unnecessary subjects and the amount of work. For the last year or two, I went outside mostly only to the store, so those who like to walk are not for you)))
The practice in this institution is one name)))
There are also some constant extortion, I don't want to go into details, but I consider it a pointless waste of money (BRSM, trade union, tablets, veterans, orphans). We don't earn money ourselves yet, and this is complete nonsense.
I would like to move on to the pleasant and thank the really professionals in their field, some, unfortunately, no longer teach - , Obroshko O.V. (a young specialist architect, practiced, worked for 8 months. in total, but she gave and taught more than anyone in 4 years), Khurs S.N. (she led engineering graphics well), Litovko L.L. (she teaches drawing well, a very kind and calm teacher), Sukhotskaya (physics, she loved her very much, a gorgeous woman), Beganskaya (she led management coolly, very cheerful and literate), Belko N.V. (a very cool, literate woman, will help in any situation, conducted norm control).
I tried to find the pros, and here they are:
+ learning to be independent
+getting your hands full in drawing
+stress resistance is developing capital
+ learning to fight for your rights
+making friends
+there is a smoking room on Suvorov
I hope that someone will read this from the administration and will not start exposing the wrong students, but will start With THEMSELVES and finally at least something there will change for the better. The situation there is very sad. A lot of wasted nerves and money. If you require it, match it!
I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to my beloved college for the prestige and the highest level of education it provides. Coming to any company of people, you can talk about the fact that you study at the best college in the country, about the excellent interior of the main building, about the latest educational programs and professional teachers who are aware of all modern developments in any field of science. No one will have any doubts whether you work or not, because the amount of the scholarship covers all the expenses necessary to obtain valuable knowledge, and after college you can get a distribution in the specialty to the most sought-after and highly paid jobs in the whole country!
I will not interfere in the pedagogical process, although there are questions about it.
The building is old - it is clear that repairs are needed and it is periodically done. But how?! The walls are crooked, the sockets are falling out and so on. And they teach here, including future builders. Or these are examples of how not to do it.
When I studied there, I also thought that a lot of unnecessary information was being taught... That's the way it is, BUT now I understand that all this is necessary for general development, an unloaded brain does not develop and you think not about it, but about the bad) But they teach.... You won't want to, no one will teach you.... Turn it over to the two red ones )
