From the company Agrosindicat Kazakhstan.
To date, Omnicomm Profi 3.0 sensors and GSM/GSM+ Autograph are installed on our company's equipment.
In general, the Omnicomm Online service is very convenient, has a pleasant, intuitive and friendly interface, sufficient functionality for monitoring equipment, carrying out both sowing and harvesting operations.
The Tracking and Location modules work wonderfully, both the location of the equipment and the route are accurately and reliably displayed.
There were delays in displaying the position, but they were associated with weak cellular network coverage – after installing reinforced GSM antennas, all the "dips" disappeared.
The fuel monitoring module accurately and promptly signals refueling, as well as an extraordinary level change, i.e. drains. Even if the battery is disconnected before draining, the dispatcher will receive a notification about a change in fuel level when the power is connected later. It works great, it's been tested.
The control of the 2020 crops was carried out in Omnicomm Online and the subsequent calculation of employee salaries was carried out on the basis of data received from the system.
In terms of the accuracy of routes and calculations, a comparison was made with other similar systems, in particular with the John Deer "JD Link" system – no deviations were detected, after completing the work, both systems showed the same calculation and result. However, Omnicomm Online is an open system that allows you to connect different systems and sensors, which does not limit the company in choosing the optimal solution.
Of the disadvantages, only the lack of satellite monitoring of vegetation (NDVI) and crop rotation history can be eliminated.
Integration with weather services in obtaining precipitation forecasts would also be useful.
