The beautiful St. Sophia Cathedral. Organ music concerts are held on Sunday at 15.00. It is better to buy tickets in advance, there are many people who want to get there. There were practically no seats by 15.00! I really enjoyed the music.
Before visiting, you need to read the history of this beautiful defensive church. The interior is very atmospheric.

The monumental stone church was built more than 400 years ago and it is said that it has never been closed. The ascetic facade is decorated with only four arched niches - a kind of monument of defensive architecture (walls are 2 meters thick) During the Northern War, it was shelled by the Swedes: cannonballs of those times were embedded in the walls of the church. The interior retains an altar from the beginning of the XVIII century, an organ from the end of the XVIII century, an icon of the Mother of God, considered miraculous in the XVIII century. In the church there is a painting by Alfred Romer "Jesus Christ and the orphan". The church was open during our visit and it was possible to climb the bell tower and go down to the basement.
A great place to retreat and ponder the meaning of life. It is open to everyone and always. There are quite a lot of artifacts of the past inside. There is a stone cross outside. Nearby there is a small playground for children and good Parking for 15 cars. When driving by, don't drive by.
We have been in these places with an interval of several years. The church belongs to the buildings of the defense type. The interior is very beautiful and majestic. Beautifully restored and will surprise any traveler with its appearance. There is a cozy park nearby.
We were advised to visit this wonderful place. I think if I could still get into the service, it would leave even more impressions. How touching it is to touch and see such a story that this temple has left! I highly recommend visiting. Peace and tranquility.
The church was closed during the visit, but the church itself is impressive, worth a look. It resembles a fortress with massive gates, towers and loopholes
An amazing place!
Sincere ...

A very beautiful church and the square next to it: both the look and the soul are pleasant!
Everything was created by the efforts of Priest Yatsek!
Talk to him for a couple of minutes - you will definitely like it)
It is a very old and beautiful church. Surrounded by an authentic stone wall, it looks majestic, especially at sunset! The priest is very friendly, you can come in to chat, even if you are not a Catholic.
After the Second World War, the Soviet authorities wanted to demolish the church, but the priest collected historical documents and went to Moscow to be recognized as an architectural monument. Villagers took turns on duty inside and outside, preventing the building from being blown up. The priest has achieved recognition. The church was robbed several times and there are almost no original paintings, icons, and utensils left. My roots are from this village. By the way, this is the Vitebsk region, not the Minsk region. Until 1937, it was generally the territory of Poland.
An excellent example of a structure with a dual purpose - as a temple and as a defensive structure during the period of military operations during its construction.
The decoration inside is very modest, but the place itself is very beautiful and quiet: we went in with my wife, were silent, rested, rebooted and continued on our way.
The church of the defensive type of the beginning of the 17th century (1603-1606). One of the oldest churches in the Republic of Belarus. Inside there is a working antique organ that sounds at services. The church has been restored inside and out. There are traces of former wars left in the thick walls - cannonballs. If you're lucky, you can get into the underground crypts.
What a cool building. It's either a fortress or a church. Or maybe a church. I take off my cap in front of the creators. And how many years does it cost.
