In Smorgon there is a monument of Renaissance architecture – the Church of St. Michael the Archangel. The construction of the stone Calvinist church began approximately in 1606-1612. Its founder was Krystof Zenovich. In shape, the temple is an octagon, slightly elongated. The main hall is crowned by a vaulted dome decorated with frescoes. The entrance is guarded by a massive belfry tower. There is an entrance for vehicles...
The most beautiful and ancient church of Archangel Michael, reborn in 1991, the former Uniate Cathedral... It is an ornament and a business card of the city of Smorgon. It is located in the very center of the city, next to the central square.
A temple with an individual history. It is better to visit within the framework of the excursion program.

It's worth a visit. A very peculiar architecture with interspersed defensive elements. But the most important thing is the atmosphere. The nearby Christian Educational Center is focused on working with young people and there is a lot to learn here.
It's a beautiful place. The abbot is an interesting conversationalist. Take the time to talk to him. The territory is arranged very beautifully and in a variety of ways. Everything is done with a soul.
In general, it's not bad, but there is something more interesting to look at in this direction, I would not purposefully go here. But in the city itself there is a local ice cream that you can't taste anywhere else, that's cool!

The ancient temple is in good condition, the most interesting place in the city. It's beautiful inside too.
