The renovated Museum of Local Lore in Lepel is definitely worth a visit to anyone interested in this region. Good expositions, lots of interesting and useful information. The museum itself is located in a historic building of a former factory warehouse in the center of Lepel.

I was at the night of museums for free, so I think they didn't show everything. But the museum is not completely done, many halls were closed. I liked what I saw, bright halls with modern lighting... I learned a lot of interesting information about the emergence of the city, perhaps I had heard it before, but somehow it seemed that there was a lot of new information. I examined the exhibits more carefully than usual, since there were not many of them. I'll have to go again... three years later...

It was July 26, 2024. I really liked it! Thanks to Vladimir Anatolyevich Baranov for a well-conducted tour of the museum. The surprise and discovery was the most interesting information about the Berezinsky water system. The museum is actively working on the creation of new halls about the Lepel region. We hope that we will be able to visit new exhibitions on our next visit. Good luck to the museum and its employees in their historical search.
