The Museum of Local Lore in Bobruisk has as many as 9 large halls: "Ethnography of the region", "Archeology of the region". The exposition "The history of the region in the pre-Soviet period" and "The history of the region in 1918-1941." Halls dedicated to the "Revolutionary movement in the region", "Bobruisk region during the Second World War" and "The history of the development of the city in the post-war and modern period", as well as "Cultural life of the modern city". And the nature and climatic features of our region are well demonstrated in the exhibition "Nature of the region and environmental protection".
Some exhibits need to be replaced, or at least the surrounding surroundings, which are 40 years old, have already been changed. And the history of the city can be traced very well. There are interesting facts! It's definitely worth going once
Being in Bobruisk, you definitely need to visit this museum. A very interesting exposition from antiquity to the present day. Many stands are dedicated to military topics. And an important point, perhaps someone will be interested in this information, the toilet is also equipped for people with disabilities. I recommend you to visit!
It so happened that we visited it for the first time on a holiday, on Victory Day, when admission was free. And we were very pleased with the visit. We learned so many interesting things about the city and the country in general. We walked for an hour and a half, and if we don't hurry, we can do more.
A good solid local history museum. It is possible to trace the history of Bobruisk and its surroundings from the Stone Age to the present. There is a lot of visual material of maps. A special place is given, of course, to the Bobruisk fortress. Separate halls on the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War - apparently, a lot came from the collections of military units that used to be in Bobruisk (this idea is suggested by the presence of a large number of banners of military formations).
I really liked it, I took the children there twice, the atmosphere is appropriate, an attentive and patient guide told me very interesting and exciting things. The children are asking to go again.
The museum's exposition is very huge. I have been to a very large number of museums, but I remember this one for the rest of my life! Very polite staff. I am pleased with the amount of information, I spent almost 4 hours in the museum, there is something to catch the eye.
The museum is rich. Everything is beautiful. The history of not only the city, but also the country in all its glory. An inexpensive ticket. There are magnets at the checkout)
It is interesting, of course, but unfortunately such institutions are for 1 time. I was there once as a child, recently brought the children. They are interested, but I still remember all these exhibits. It is definitely worth visiting, although in order to carefully walk around all the halls, you get very tired
It is amazing that the small museum contains exhibits characterizing different periods of the city's existence. The city has seen many wars, a change of power, economic booms and stagnation.
I was particularly impressed by the cabinet with copies of ads from the beginning of the 20th century - as if immersed in the life of that time.
An atmospheric museum, very interesting expositions, excellent guides. There are a lot of interesting things about the development and life of our region and city.I recommend a visit.
A good museum from our days to the Paleolithic.
There is a rich composition, wonderful expositions of exhibits, there is a layout of the Bobruisk fortress. They say you can book a tour, but you need to make an application in advance.
An excellent museum in terms of the number of exhibits. We got there together with a tour for the third grades. I didn't like the evil attitude of the guide towards the children. And the lack of heating.
The city constantly surprises both with its historical uniqueness and the main part of the city of Bobruisk. In the summer we walked around the city, the market, the local pedestrian street. I liked the part of the city where parts of the fort remained the most
It's not interesting without a guide. In general, the whole history of Bobruisk is presented. The museum guide gives quite complete information and the cost of services is small.
Well, this museum is so warm and native! With wonderful exhibits and even places with decorations
You won't believe it, but foreigners or people from other cities always spend time in it with interest and often do not hurry to leave!
Great museum, good staff. For lovers of history, culture and knowledge, I recommend

The most ordinary Belarusian museum. Just a little bit about history and several halls about the Second World War at once. The funny thing is that in the lists of famous and important people from Bobruisk there is a place for photos of yarmoshina and Davydko. He laughed. And the guide noted the capture by the Red army as liberation. What? They talked about the war heroes non-stop, and I accidentally mentioned Dunin-Marcinkevich, who hails from these places, once. In short, I do not advise you to waste your time
