Oh my hometown and the amazing Town Hall! For many locals it's just an old building, but for me it's a truly historic place, a symbol of the city, a breath of the era, an easily recognizable clock face, very familiar and soulful. I love the Town Hall and the little street of Suvorov Street on the left. Now, when I come home from time to time, I still take the time to walk nearby. This time we went inside, visited the Christmas tree exhibition and went up to the observation deck of the Town Hall. This is amazing! The views are fabulous, fluffy snow was falling. There is plenty of room to take photos, and the climb to the Town Hall is difficult, but grandparents, and especially young people, can easily overcome this milestone! While you are climbing, you can see the mechanisms of antique watches. When you are in Vitebsk, set a goal to climb up and see the panorama of the city! I was in the summer of 2009 and saw the whole city in full view, this time it was winter's turn! That's cool too.As for the exhibitions, they are quite interesting and quite interesting exhibitions often come. You can get to the really worthwhile ones. I was at an Italian fashion show at the time. Like it. I advise everyone!

Wonderful restaurant! Excellent cuisine, top–notch chef! Polite, courteous staff, knows their job! And a great interior that matches the location in the center of the "old town" of Vitebsk! I really liked it, we'll be back!

It's a very interesting museum. There are always various exhibitions, some so interesting that you can visit them several times. The price is very affordable, you can always go both with a company and with children. I highly recommend it, you won't regret it!

The museum is beautiful, located in the town hall, some rooms are a little sparse (grandma's chest is upstairs), but for example the hall with nature is very good - a very beautiful and rich exposition.

The symbol of the city, located in the very center. A rich collection of belongings of Vitebsk region. There are permanent and temporary expositions. It is not expensive, it is definitely worth a visit. You can also take a bird's-eye view of the city.

We arrived at the museum at 17.00. The museum is open until 18.00. We decided to limit ourselves only to the "History of the city of Vitebsk". We took the audio guide and went. The exhibition takes place in two small rooms (from the entrance on the right). To call it a museum is out of the question. I did not expect such an exhibition from Vitebsk, a regional city. As a result, they left after 15 minutes (( Sorry for the time spent. But there is also a pleasant impression - there is free street parking next to the museum) For comparison, last year I visited Polotsk and went to the museum of local lore. It is larger in area, located on two floors, and has many more exhibits than in Vitebsk. We were lucky - we had a full-fledged tour for an hour and a half in an interactive format. It was very interesting to get answers to your questions)

We were on a tour of the museum. We were very lucky. Our guide was Kseniya Vasilyevna Druzhkova. It's just a delight! She talked and showed in person, and sang when necessary, and read poetry. In general, it was a real one-man show. We are very grateful to Ksenia Vasilyevna for the tour!!!

There is little advertising about halls with expositions. The lack of prices (discount information) for pensioners near the cash register. Having modern audio/video ...I would like to immerse myself in the world of history in a more informative and spectacular way.

A wonderful town hall in the center of Vitebsk. You can go up to the observation deck and explore the city. The night lighting will look great. Now the building houses a museum of local lore.

The museum is interesting. Separate halls, each with its own exposition. Children are allowed on the observation deck from the age of 10, it is not written anywhere. There are no signs of where to go. I had to look for employees and ask them to explain. Not everyone was nice, but maybe we're being mean. The children enjoyed the exhibitions with nature and WWII.

There are a lot of expositions, we did not expect such a good quality of the museum, it is really interesting, we learned a lot of new things, it is very interesting to listen to the audio guide in the exposition with animals. The exposition with animals is the most beautiful, if you are in doubt which exhibitions to take, take with animals!

We were at the bazaar, there were a lot of people, we managed to visit the basement of the town hall, it just opened, we were one of the first and went up to the observation deck. The place is interesting, there is something to see, especially the views from the top 30 minutes are given to climb. What I didn't like was that there is no single ticket, you need to pay for each hall separately, there is a common ticket for all halls, but the basement and the observation deck are paid separately.

We took the climb to the tower and all in one, 75p ~ 2000 Russian rubles came out for the family, everything went in an hour and a half, for me it's not worth the money, it also turned out that they wouldn't let us in for a couple of meetings - tickets for them had to be bought to our "all inclusive" - absurd!

We climbed the town hall, 146 steps, many people will be able to do it, they don't rush, there is no excursion there, just to see the city, but it costs 10p. The last climb was at 18:00, we signed up in advance, there were many people who wanted to on Friday

We went to the town hall today, we wanted to go up to the observation deck, there is no one at the entrance, you go in and do not understand where to go, either the stairs on the left or the hall straight, because we had to go to the observation deck, we decided to go up the stairs, passed 3 floors, no one stopped us, an employee met us on the third, we we greeted each other and politely asked if it was possible to go up to the observation deck here, to which we received the answer: "no!", to our question "where?", this woman began to scold us for going up to the fourth floor and how we even thought of it (as if we had committed a mortal sin), because on the first floor on the floor at the entrance there is a pier "security guard" and there is a hall where you need to buy tickets and so on. In general, there we found out that the rise was at 13 o'clock, and it was 12.15. We went down, the mood turned sour. Getting up once an hour is understandable, but why the staff are rude to tourists is unclear! Make pointers, arrows in the end, and you don't have to tell off tourists who got lost, you can calmly explain, It's a pity that these Soviet habits are still found in such cultural places.

On December 14, we visited the exhibition "Back to the USSR" for 4 rubles and ascent to the tower for 7 rubles each. We arrived in advance at 14.00, bought tickets for 17.00. Although we were warned about low beams, I still hit my head, it's good that I was wearing a hat. In general, there are 21 halls in museums. According to a single ticket, an inspection of 8 halls, the rest are paid separately, in our case - 4 rubles. The exhibition is not big, but since the museum employee told everything, it was pleasant and informative. But why should the museum staff get dressed at 17.50 if the museum is open to visitors until 18.00? I don't understand....

This town hall is one of the few buildings of this type that have survived to this day. Although the architecture of the town hall has undergone some changes, it is a unique monument in the Baroque style. Now the Vitebsk Museum of Local Lore is located in the town hall. Therefore, you can admire the architecture from the outside, and get acquainted with the exposition inside.

An interesting museum. But, I bought a single ticket for 8 expositions, as a result, they were not allowed to go to 2 expositions, they said that they were not included in the ticket, and on the first floor historical Vitebsk, the woman closed the doors and said take a walk somewhere, the room got very hot I don't have the strength to be there????? What??? What have I got to do with it?I didn't have time to wait. In general , 5 rooms out of 8 , it 's a pity

An iconic place for locals and of course a place of attraction for tourists. The museum can tell a lot about the history of the city of Vitebsk, its identity and the defense of the city during the Second World War. There are many cafes and an Orthodox church nearby. The prices are reasonable, there are discounts for schoolchildren and students, even for non-residents of the Republic of Belarus. (upon presentation of the document). I recommend it for the room.

An interesting museum of local lore, located in the building of the city hall. The expositions are located in halls on different floors of the building, there is an observation deck at the top of the tower. For a more detailed acquaintance with the exhibits, I recommend using the services of a guide. Access to the observation deck is possible every hour accompanied by a guide, in some places you need to bend down due to small doorways. A wonderful panorama of the city center opens from above, good photos are guaranteed. It took about two and a half hours to inspect the main exposition, a couple of thematic exhibitions and climb to the observation deck.
