The history of the city of Turov from the moment of its mention in the Chronicle (and this is 989) to the times of the USSR is presented in the museum in the form of exhibits, panels, photo galleries. It is interesting for both children and adults. Guides always include local legends in their stories, which gives mystery and conveys the flavor of the Turov land. It should be noted that the museum is constantly developing, replenishing its funds with new exhibits and research.
It was interesting. Good exposure. Interesting patterns of embroidery and weaving. I liked the hall of the interwar period. The children really liked the nature hall.
It's not a bad museum for a long time, the exposition is well chosen, and the location of the exhibits is interesting. It is possible to book a tour of the significant places of the Tour. I recommend you to visit!
A neat, small, rather interesting museum of a small town. I think if you visit Tours, you should come in to get to know these places more. Moreover, the museum is located not far (2 min.) from the Cathedral of Cyril and Lawrence of Turov - one of the main objects of visiting Turov.
an ordinary museum, which is in every city. There are no special exhibits. if he had not been included in the excursion program, then he would hardly have been visited. On the plus side, there is a small section for children where they can play archaeologists

Like most local history museums, there are interesting exhibits, but not many - for example, traditional women's headdresses, atypical for most regions of Belarus. The tour was conducted by a researcher at the museum - it is clear that the person is knowledgeable, but not very sociable. the tour lasted about 20 minutes. Maybe because it was not conducted by a guide, it seemed superficial to us. I would recommend a better visit to the Turov Archaeological Museum.
The building is very old, it smells of mold. It's strange how people live in the swamps.. It's still there.. You need to invest in this museum to keep it warm and bright.. The impression was not very good...
