This is the history of Abkhazia. But as everywhere, it requires investment for the development of tourism. There is an unexplored cave at the foot. Snowdrops and boxwood grow. There is no guide, but there is a guard. He told me what he knew. The fortress is in an abandoned state, in my opinion there is a danger of injury, but this is not a hindrance to real researchers! I advise you to visit, but be careful. Only for sober researchers!😁

An interesting place from the point of view of the surrounding landscape. Especially at sunset it is beautiful. We were at the end of October, there was no one except the caretaker, we really liked it, took a quiet walk, took a photo. We talked with the caretaker, drank wine, politely declined an invitation to visit:)
