A beautiful madrasah with a cozy courtyard at the Lyabi House. It is located across the street from the square, and there were almost no people here right away. A perfectly peaceful place to relax. There are also few workshops, but at the entrance on the right I found wooden walnut magnets with burning, I highly recommend it. There I also bought a pumpkin for spices with a painted Kalyan.
Kukeldash Madrasah, in the center of the old town of Bukhaoi, is part of the Lyabi Khovuz architectural ensemble. The building was built in the XVI century, under the ruler Abdullahan II. This Madrasah is the largest in Central Asia, where Sadriddin Aini, the President of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, was educated here at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The building has a courtyard, has a beautiful facade from the outside, but the courtyard, walls and cells require restoration
The coolest place in all of Bukhara.
The passages to the roof are open, all rooms are open.
You can just go in during the DAY and climb on the roof of the building!!!!
No money, no fences, no PROHIBITIONS¡¡¡
Just come in and see and climb where people used to just live.
The passages are located in the corners of the building.
Please note that in the depths of the madrasah there is a wonderful little museum of literature, the writer Aini. For some reason, it does not have a sign from the street, and it is not very noticeable because of the trading halls in the first cells, but the museum leaves warm feelings.
Very colorful buildings with many niches filled with handmade art products!
In the evening, an ethnofestival was held in the courtyard, where we not only had a delicious dinner with national dishes, but also enjoyed getting acquainted with the songs and dances of the peoples of Uzbekistan and even watched a fashion show of clothing models.
A very interesting architectural monument, a madrasah not like the others, with balconies on the outside, I have not seen another one like this. I recommend going inside and looking at the ceiling decoration at the entrance. You can bypass it from the outside along the perimeter, but the view of its rear part leaves much to be desired - repairs are required, otherwise it's a pity such an architectural monument
I've seen a lot of museums, and this one surprised me!
I didn't expect anything special when I went to the museum, but I spent 4 hours attached to a Russian-speaking guide, and I still could, yes... I couldn't:)
A lot of artifacts, maps-maps-maps!!
They can be used to track how a lot of national territory "breathed" in history, gaining one or another statehood, with one or another capital
It is pleasant that it is especially noted that the entry of the Russian Empire into these regions has brought stability and order
In general, "Asianash" :)
Bukhara and its buildings are a magical atmospheric place. Any building is the hordes of Genghis Khan rushing by over the centuries . The caravans of the Silk Road. Mysticism)
