if you want to feel like a fisherman and eat fresh fish that will be cooked in your presence, you are welcome here, I have not seen such a variety on the shelves for a long time. There are small establishments nearby where you can cook any chosen seafood) I do not advise you to go to the restaurant farthest to the pier, to the left of the market (horse prices, they bring a lot of snacks and water, which if you do not refuse immediately add to the bill, it is very smoky)
When I visit Istanbul, I always buy myself fresh shrimps, which are immediately prepared for me in a cafe and I take the ready-made ones to the hotel. In March, the cost of 1 kilogram of tiger prawns was 200lr +100lr for cooking-my daughter and I ate too much. In December, prices increased by 2 times. I took half a kilo for the same money, they also cooked it on the grill and offered tea for free.
The place is worth visiting at least once. An ordinary fishing market, where you can immediately prepare the purchased product. According to the reviews below, I chose the first restaurant to the left of the entrance. We had shrimps and Turkish mussels with rice. The mussels didn't go by, but the shrimps are divine: fresh and perfectly cooked, not rubbery, in butter, baked. I recommend a visit.
