A wonderful collection of paintings. When visiting Vienna, I recommend going to the museum and just wander inside and admire the works of art. It is better not to limit the visit to one day. A few visits add a pleasant aftertaste. About ticket prices - it's not cheap, but it's worth it. Moreover, there are different options.
A wonderful collection of old masters. Interesting exhibitions are regularly held. There is an audio guide in Russian. The museum is large, it takes at least three hours to view the entire exposition. I highly recommend this place to visit. If you come to Vienna, then this is one of the first places to visit.
A very rich art collection. The largest collection of Brueghel's paintings. The famous "Venus in Furs" by Titian (it was from impressions of her that Sacher Masoch wrote his novel). "Peltskin" by Rubens, Veermeer and of course the famous Salera by Benvenutto Cellini
The Museum of Art History is one of the most amazing places in Vienna, which is a must-visit. It is located on Maria Trezia Square, opposite the identical-looking Natural History Museum. The beauty fascinates right at the entrance. The variety of exhibitions will keep you in the museum for more than one hour
It will probably take three days to slowly visit this museum. It is very interesting, beautiful, there are masterpieces that will be interesting for art lovers and connoisseurs.
One of the main museums in Vienna. Be sure to visit vk. It will take two separate days of 2 hours each. Italian painting, the Dutch, Caravaggio as many as three works.
it's a very beautiful place, it's worth going even just for the interior, you won't regret it

A rich collection of both paintings and artifacts! But the audio guide is boring and lengthy, plus there are only individual exhibits. He only made me want to sleep;)
The museum features sculptures and paintings by German, Austrian, and Italian masters. A large collection of works by the Venetian school.
A separate exposition of weapons and armor.
There are audio guides in Russian and English.
You can buy a personalized shared ticket for 7 museums, which is valid for a year (one visit per museum).
A gorgeous Brueghel exhibition, a lot of information about technology, copies, and the restoration process.Take the audio guide, there are fascinating descriptions of the paintings.
The main exhibition of the museum is also worth your time.
And have lunch in the museum cafe, a gorgeous view of the square and good cuisine.

A wonderful museum! A lot of things, I was impressed by the Egyptian and Greek halls. A very rare and large collection of paintings, Velasquez, Caravaggio, Van Dyck, Lotto, Rubens, Raphael, had a great pleasure!!!
A good collection of paintings and exhibits. There are a lot of visitors. Queues in the cloakroom and toilets. There is a cafe-restaurant in the lobby between the floors, the smell is all over the museum.
An excellent museum, everything is done for people, both organizationally and technically. There is no point in discussing the museum's collection itself, it is among the top five in the world. But everything else can only be envied, being a resident of Russia. The only drawback is that ticket prices are by no means as democratic as European values)
a magnificent museum, just the apotheosis of art. After visiting such places, you begin to be proud that you are a human being. Unsurpassed architecture, thoughtfulness of every detail, a rich collection of art objects. We went to the Brueghel the Elder exhibition, but we will definitely come here again.
The ticket at the end of November 2018 cost 15 euros, the audio guide cost 5 euros. The Russian-language audio guide is still being updated, now about 20% of the entire exposition has been announced, but it is already worth it. They tell a very interesting story. I listened to every picture from the beginning to the end.
