The dining room is like a dining room. The food is normal. It's completely monotonous. One type of fruit and only for lunch - plum, apple, pear, orange, banana, then repeated. But for this price, there are no alternatives. You will definitely not stay hungry.
For breakfast - pancakes, cottage cheese / casserole.
For breakfast, lunch and dinner - there is always broth (vegetable or chicken, it's hard to understand), but it goes with a bang ...
The only thing that upsets is a crowd of boorish pensioners who are always pulling a shovel or ladle out of their hands, squeezing without queuing, pushing, it feels like they definitely don't have enough ...
There is a lot of food, the guys are constantly bringing and updating food trays.
You need to understand that this is just a dining room to eat.
And for goodies, you need to go out and look for a cafe, which you may not find the first time... because in one they cook something for 5, and something for two, in the other, what you ate in the first for 5 turned out to be for 3, and the other dish is just "licking your fingers"... This is Abkhazia... and this needs to be understood. There is a market with delicious fruits and vegetables. The wine is only bottled from the store - you need to understand the home... You try it, it's normal, you buy it, you pour it, it's a rare muck... Therefore, only in bottles ...
we come to Pitsunda every two years for 10 years... And it's worth it!!! there are pros and cons.
It's the worst dining room I've ever seen. The staff who clean the tables are trying, but there are very few of them and a huge workload. What is served here under the guise of food cannot be called food. I will not forget pasta paste, bones instead of meat, an abundance of mayonnaise. I only ate soups here (more precisely, water with a taste). During the two weeks of their stay, several people were poisoned.
I haven't eaten anything worse. The food is as tasteless as possible. Cutlets without meat, one bread. If breakfast is more or less, then lunch and dinner… It's the same thing every day: meatless cutlets, pasta, potatoes. The food is not only tasteless, but you can also get fat from it. The employees are kind and friendly, but the cook has big questions
The dining room is clean, the location of dishes and food is convenient. The dining room is large, spacious, there are enough seats for everyone, no one is waiting or looking for a table. They are cooked at home, delicious, you can choose according to taste (there are several dishes).Buffet-justifies itself.
After a rest in pitsunda, the first thing you want to forget about is this "dining room". First of all, everything is dirty: both walls and floor, as well as tables, and even plates, spoons, mugs... I want to wash myself, but it was not there - there is no toilet inside, even you can wash your hands only at the entrance to this nedo-institution, and you can no longer go out and enter again. But this was not going anywhere, the most terrible thing here is the food. It is impossible to eat here for even 3 days. The menu is repeated for lunch and dinner with only one difference - the dishes at dinner have already faded, and at lunch they are still in the process of fading. Oh, yes, for dinner they give uneaten porridges from breakfast, and someone else manages to eat them. Breakfast here is the only "edible" (and even varied!) eating, however, be careful: there is a risk of poisoning with rotten (yesterday's) porridge and buckwheat from dinner "with a whiff".
An unfriendly Abkhaz woman walks around the hall and makes sure that starving vacationers do not steal cereal - the only food - in order to somehow satisfy their hunger while waiting for the next breakfast.
The menu is almost the same every day. But if you choose for yourself what you will eat and follow this diet, then in principle everything is fine. You don't have to grab everything and take so much that you can't eat. After the first day of your stay, you can decide in advance what you will eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the following days. In general, follow the rules of hygiene and everything will be fine.
After visiting this, if I may say so, dining room, my wife and I raced to the toilet. Later we got used to this state of affairs. But the toilet didn't let us go for a long time. After each meal, run to his room. The food is cold, cheap, tasteless, and doesn't even look good. From meat - hearts, stomachs and liver. There is nothing to profit from here! Don't try to eat here, or you'll have a race with your neighbors on the toilet!
I took the wine a couple of times, I didn't like the sour one. It is not possible to spoil chacha, so I tasted it during meals. The only guy on the staff is the most friendly and adequate. The rest of the female service staff is arrogant, talking "through the lip." I advise refined gourmets to eat in other places. The menu is the simplest, but you won't get swollen with hunger. The buffet.
We visited this institution "thanks" to the excursion (along the Golden Ring of Abkhazia). Because of the early departure, we did not eat at home, so we arrived at the place with a great desire to have breakfast). But contrary to expectations, this place has greatly spoiled the first impression of Abkhazia ((( the dining room is dirty, dogs walk around the tables, the price / quality does not match (it is expensive for a breakfast of 2 cheesecakes, 1/4 khachapuri, buns and 2 coffees-600 rubles). The toilet is paid (and ugh). The only thing I liked was khachapuri and oriental coffee.
