The Kuylyuk Bazaar is one of the oldest markets in Tashkent. It has always been distinguished by affordable prices and the freshness of fruit and vegetable products. Broccoli, zucchini and other overseas "guests" are not a priority here, but, on the other hand, fruits and vegetables of Uzbekistan are in excellent quality and assortment. You can also buy dried fruits, rice for every taste, cereals. For fans of Korean / Chinese cuisine, there is a large selection of seasonings and ready-made sweets.
However, in recent years, the market has changed a lot for the worse, it is very dirty, logistics also leaves much to be desired, there is generally a continuous trade of goods from the ground, including grocery goods around the bazaar. There are absolutely chaotic small stalls and tiny shops everywhere. The entrances are very inconvenient. There are not enough parking spaces.
Getting to the bazaar has become much more convenient and faster thanks to the metro.
However, in general, if you do not plan to purchase in large quantities (for example, for conservation), the cost of time, effort and money for a taxi is not worth it. It is better to buy in the market.

The only problem with stopping is that in order to go in the opposite direction (to the center) you need to cross a road with no traffic lights or zebras.
The most disorganized, dirty, chaotic place. The road interchange has been under construction for many months now. Disregard for people. After all, people go there not for a walk, but for things and groceries. Accordingly, people are loaded with bags, string bags, etc. There are no normal ramps, and those that exist are not adapted for normal travel. To get to the grocery market, you have to make such a detour, through mud, cobblestones, pits, etc. Everywhere there are touts for minibuses and taxis, spat on, littered. Minibuses stand where they want and sometimes it is difficult to squeeze between them. Trading from the floor takes up most of the transitions. Not a single lamp, the railing is broken, the corners are adapted for small needs. Why can't people's convenience be taken care of first? Why haven't the nearest transition to the market been opened yet? To get through the market, you need to maneuver between minibuses, bulldozers, pits, stones, risking twisting your legs, neck or getting hit by a dump truck. That's the kind of quest people go through.
A good bazaar. I like to go there and watch the flow of people. But the roads are terrible . Constant traffic jams, lack of Parking spaces. And pay, pay, pay everywhere. It's dirty. They do not have time or are in no hurry to clean up.Food for every taste.
Horror, horror and horror again! Everything is broken, dirt, garbage. Taxi drivers and bus drivers are screaming like crazy. The sellers are arrogant, boors. The body kit is everywhere! We from St. Petersburg were just shocked. I love oriental bazaars, but Kuylyuk is not one of my favorites.
The only bazaar in Tashkent with low food prices. You can buy virtually everything you need here. There is a separate pavilion where you can taste Uzbek national cuisine. There is parking, although it is almost always crowded.
Not an expensive convenient market. Compared to other bazaars in Kuylyuk, the goods are much cheaper. Of course, there is nothing so that all the indicators are great. Kuylyuk is no exception. There is always a board in the parking lot. Parking is paid, you could at least hire employees to regulate a neat parking lot. Due to the inability to enter the parking lot, people have to leave their cars in the middle of the road and there is a stop sign prohibited. So draw a conclusion. To shop profitably and without fines, the traffic police will have to take a taxi, which cuts down your stolen money.
The cheapest and richest bazaar in the assortment, but the sanitary and hygienic rules are in a deplorable state. There is a constant crowd of people and a traffic jam near the bazaar, because of this, many taxi drivers do not want to go that way during rush hour, even offering to pay more.
There are always fresh vegetables and products at a lower price than in other bazaars in Tashkent. The bazaar is very large, it used to take a lot of time to get to the bazaar, but now the metro goes there and it is a very convenient transport for the townspeople and for the villagers who trade here. Recommend.
A wide range of food products. Here you can find almost everything: seasonings, spices, cereals, vegetables, fruits /dried fruits, meat and eggs, tortillas and much more. This is one of the districts of the city, which can be attributed as the central intersection point - there are a lot of regional routes here, due to this, a lot of residents from the regions come here. The advantage of this is the availability of prices on the market. Many residents of Tashkent traditionally come here to make large purchases of goods. Previously, one of the problems of this place was parking, it was very difficult to get in here, and it was even more difficult to leave here. But recently, after the opening of the Compass shopping complex, which is located opposite this market, this problem has been partially solved (there is a huge parking area provided, it will not be difficult to leave the car there and walk a little to the market). In addition, after you have completed all purchases, you can leave everything in the car in the parking lot and visit the shopping complex, where you can enjoy a snack or drink a cup of natural coffee!
Soon this market will be demolished, of course it goes there better, it was not convenient to get to the market, there is no talk about sanitary standards at all...
This bazaar has been around for decades. Grocery market, holidays both retail and wholesale. People come from all over the city who need to buy cheaper. There is a final bus stop. The metro will be completed soon, it will be very convenient.
