The station certainly helps out those who walk across the border, but... There are only 4 trains to Vilnius with a transfer in Kaunas, about 7-10-13-16 hours. The schedule may change, but you won't leave in the evening. There is nothing at the station itself, just a building and rows of seats inside. No cash register, no water to drink. But the most terrible thing is the bridge that must be crossed over the tracks with suitcases, and back and forth. There is no elevator. There is a toilet in front of the entrance to the bridge from the side of the church

Of course, you can't let us out of the train to see the station, but unlike those places in Lithuania that we passed by train, the station looks decent, clean and well maintained.

The first border station when crossing Lithuania by transit. The train is standing for a long time, because the border guard service bypasses the train. Clean, neat, there are no passengers on the platform. Not far from the station on one side is an Orthodox church, on the other side is a Lutheran church.

I haven't been to the railway station. There is nothing to say. The road border crossing from Lithuania is good. They work quite quickly. The town of Kibartai is small, but cozy. Very clean. Lithuanian border guards also check on the train promptly. Polite. They don't ask unnecessary questions.
