What a degradation people have gone through! You read reviews, and there are steps in the way-every meter is clean, beautiful, a good dining room! Actually, this is a holy place and we need to talk about the soul and its condition! And then the onlookers went to the museum and appreciated the amenities, cleanliness and dining room!
This is an amazing, magical, soulful and very beautiful place. I was very happy to visit the Lavra again. I love such places, I am very calm. Beautiful and well-maintained territory. People are all polite. They will prompt and help. This is a place of power.
Very pleasant father, very strong monastery, everything is clean, everything is cleaned, wonderful staff, everything is very good, the mental strength of calmness in a word, closer to the Lord God
An interesting and beautiful place, temples, buildings, watchtowers, unusual paintings in temples. The Lavra has a long history, suffered enemy raids, fires, and carried out restoration work several times. The caves far and near are tombs for monks and not only: it turns out that Pyotr Stolypin is buried there, I was in these caves, it's not scary at all. There are a lot of interesting things, but the problem is to get there now. Everything passes and it will pass.
The Kiev Pechersk Lavra is a complex of museums that are interesting for both adults and children. There are always a lot of people here. Again, the monastery is here and the holy relics are in underground caves. I recommend.
Super!we have been to this salted place 2 times. It's impressive.relics of saints...Goosebumps all over my body. The borders will be opened and everything will return to normal....Let's go again. Kiev is a very beautiful city!!!

Lavra left the most pleasant memories! We lived there for three days.
Huge! You can't get around all the buildings, museums and temples in one day. A kind of city within a city. It is very beautiful and interesting. It is advisable to stay there for a couple of days with an overnight stay, attend services in caves, a Refectory temple, in the evening, when there are no tourists, wander around the lower lavra, feel the spirit of the local places.
I liked it as much as I might not like it, the place is ancient and salted, and real beauty has been created by human hands. A very interesting visit to the caves, the air there is special, the feelings are also special. The relics of Ilya Muromets (or his prototype) rest in the Nearby caves.
For people with strollers: difficult passages inside the monastery, in some places the territory does not contain even the minimum necessary conditions, and on the main paths a step through every meter is simply annoying. Among the advantages: cleanliness everywhere, a good dining room.
The place of power of the Russian people. Christian faith and Orthodoxy. It is a pity that 30 years have already passed, and the non-Christians in power cannot allow everyone to enter his holy gates.
I have been associated with the Kiev Pechersk Lavra for many decades. Wikipedia is not accurate: monks on the steep bank of the Dnieper appeared long before the Baptism of Russia. How many holy relics are in ancient caves! Tip: break away from the short tour group, the main thing is the Distant caves. Many and good summers to Metropolitan Onufriy!
A very memorable place! Historically important for both Russia and Ukraine. I really hope that the conflict between our states will end and people will have the opportunity to visit these places.
Here are the relics of Ilyusha Muromets and other venerated saints.
It's a very beautiful place. It's worth a walk if you have the opportunity in a friend) Very beautiful jewelry is sold there and at an affordable price
You need to visit this place at least once in your life!
We used to walk from Moscow, a lot of bast shoes were killed for such a road! It's much easier to get there now
A very beautiful place! The only thing is creepy in caves. I do not recommend it for people with phobias.. I wanted to get out as soon as possible! And so I really, really recommend walking, admiring the view!

A place where a sense of holiness and purity arises.
Beautiful and well-maintained buildings and the whole area. I will definitely come back.
great! We specially went from Odessa to this terrible city to take a walk on the territory of the lavra. ;)
It's very convenient, you don't enter the territory of this terrible city
I have never considered myself a devout believer in order to attend churches, but in the Lavra everything is different. The territory is divided into two parts: the monastery and the museum. It is on the monastery territory that the near and far caves, the springs of Saints Anthony and Theodosius are located, in this place every stone of the bruschatka, every leaf on the tree is imbued with a bright spirit. Although the holy relics are located in a rather cramped and cramped space where the ceiling can be easily touched with the head, there is no oppressive feeling. There is peace for the soul in the caves. A wonderful place in every way. It is worth visiting even if you are not a believer for the sake of enjoying the architecture of the XI century.

If you come to Kiev, the first thing you need to do is visit this holy place. Grace from him, and blows. Thank God for the opportunity to visit this monastery!
One of the three Laurels that exist in Ukraine. My wife and I were in all of them. They're all beautiful. Specifically, the Kiev Pechersk Lavra is divided into two parts, the upper and the lower. In the upper part in the center there is the Assumption Cathedral, next to it a refectory church and a bell tower, along the perimeter of the territory there are many museums. From museums such as the museum of books, jewelry, miniatures, etc. There is an observation deck next to the refectory church, which offers a good view of the lower Lavra, the Dnieper river and the left bank of Kiev. In the lower part there are a large number of churches, monks' cells, souvenir shops, as well as upper and lower caves. There are relics of saints in the caves. In total, the relics of 159 saints are located on the territory.More detailed information can be obtained on site, with the help of a guide or a guidebook. A good place, I advise you to visit.
The memories are still alive, although it was a long time ago. For the first time in my childhood, at the age of 11, I am now 54. I believe that prayer does not disappear anywhere. And in these places, which have been preserved for centuries, the beauty is breathtaking.
It's an amazing place. The most beautiful temples. Grace

I want to visit many times, there is some kind of attraction. Recommend.
Is the Kiev Pechersk Lavra rated as a star?
I can't add anything else yet...Although, no.
Thank you so much for bringing the relics from the far and near caves to Ufa.
At the age of 20, we did not understand what we were touching... and did not touch the body: forehead, lips, head to the saints of Kiev Caves themselves…
Maybe peace will come after all?
Just a peek and rest for the soul and mind .you become different here.at least after each visit it remains .something new .when you especially touch the holy relics .And the soul begins to sing.I wish everyone to visit. This is a holy place.
