The hotel is quite good. What pleased me: 1. Location (near the metro), all tourist locations are within walking distance, there is a McDonald's, a KFS nearby, a good Georgian restaurant is a 5-minute walk away.
2. A nice bed in the room; we were put in a room with a view of the courtyard, so it was quiet at night. There is a kettle, bottled water, tea and coffee; the bathroom has underfloor heating. Cleaning was done every day.
The hotel itself is in an oriental style, luxurious chandeliers in the corridor, a wide hall, polite staff, the entrance to the hotel resembles a front door in St. Petersburg)
I did not like only the breakfasts, cramped and few tables, the choice of food is very poor(
Convenient location of the hotel - close to the embankment, the historical center and near the metro.
Beautiful hall, high ceilings (because this is an old building). A comfortable bed, but for some reason they put a half-size blanket on the double bed. I had to sleep back to back to be covered.
Another incomprehensible situation with water: then it runs very hot, then it's straight cool (refreshing). Adjustment does not help. In general, it's fine for two days. The staff is responsive. Thanks!
In two days we managed to visit the standard room, which opens onto the courtyard and a room with a balcony that overlooks a busy street. The rooms themselves are very fresh, a great shower room is spacious and clean. Comfortable mattress, air conditioning. The standard room has a small window. View of the courtyard well.
We had problems with payment through the Tink aggregator and an extremely nice girl helped us to rebook rooms without penalties.
I want to mention the beautiful girl-the administrator of the TC, she solved any of our questions and problems instantly. She offered us to upgrade the room for 10 manats and we moved to a wonderful room with a balcony. (When booking through aggregators, the price difference is more than 3 thousand).
The hotel is located in a house built more than 100 years ago and the entrance staircase does not look very good, but the hotel itself is very clean and pleasant. In the front and courtyards of St. Petersburg there is a similar view.
Breakfast is homemade, simple, without frills, but you can eat.
We really liked the hotel, and most importantly its location. And sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening and watching the life of the city is a separate thrill.
Excellent hotel, room cleaning every day, delicious breakfast is included in the price. There is a transfer from/to the airport. It is located near the Sahil metro station, 15 minutes walk to the old town, 500 meters to the embankment. Everything was great, thanks a lot to the staff.

I highly recommend this hotel!!!!I came to Baku with a child, before that I booked an apartment in Baku to stay, but the apartment in real life turned out to be terrible, I had to immediately look for a hotel and I found this hotel through Tinkoff travel, immediately paid and went there, I was very afraid, But it was not there.Spacious, clean rooms, snow-white bed linen and towels, friendly Russian-speaking staff, very tasty homemade breakfasts, the hotel is fresh and very beautiful. The only negative is that I would like the rooms to be cleaned more cleanly, there is not enough floor cleaning every day.The Wi-Fi is great. This is not our first time in Baku and we have something to compare it with, last year we lived in another hotel nearby.La case is better 100 times and right in the center. Thanks to Baku for the warm welcome, we will definitely return and maybe to La case sahil. We left something in Baku, in this wonderful hotel - a piece of our heart.
The entrance to the hotel is very disappointing, a dirty staircase with a flower dealer. A little creepy. The location of the hotel itself is perfect. The staff is friendly, the room is clean, the breakfast is delicious. For a short trip, perfect. The most expensive area of the city. If you travel longer, then choose an apartment in another area. Cheap taxi in the city
Quite a normal hotel. The staff was very friendly, the guys at the reception were very helpful with choosing places where to eat tasty and cheap. The windows overlooked the courtyard, so it was quiet
Convenient location of the hotel👍Cozy room with elegantly high ceilings👍 as a minus, I can only note a large number of steps in front of the entrance. But maybe it's because I was with a stroller. The metro is nearby, it's super, many thanks to the hotel staff who helped with all the issues!!!
A hotel in the very center is a plus. The renovation in the rooms is more or less fresh. The entrance to the Hotel is through a strange staircase of a very unpleasant appearance and with an unpleasant smell. The hotel is located in an old building with high ceilings and thick walls. But it is impossible to relax in the room because of the noise from the street. The street is busy, cars with loud music drive until late at night - it is impossible to sleep. The air conditioner didn 't work for us or we couldn 't cope . We asked the receptionist to help, but he said he didn't know how to turn it on. As a result, we slept in sweaters, pants, socks - it was very cold and smelled damp and musty. Breakfast: there are clearly not enough tables, there are only 3 by 5 square meters. The food is normal, if you don't find fault. but they just didn't have time to apply it, because 6 people had breakfast, and the employee was 1. In the morning they moved to another hotel.
DECEPTION AND FRAUD. The hotel was looking for on Ostrovok.ru and found La Casa Shahil 4 stars. Ordered from 5 to 9 May 2023. From the description it followed that the hotel corresponded to 4 stars, was located next to the embankment, and the Superior room was 40 square meters, with sound insulation, with a shower and a private bathroom, with WiFi, with a restaurant and buffet and free airport transfer. Of all this, only the location and the shower turned out to be true. Everything else is pure deception and fraud. The hotel does not have its own entrance. It is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of an old building, where you lift your suitcases without an elevator through the dirty stairs of a flower shop (see photo). The rooms are 40 sq. m., and even with their own bathroom there is no mention. No noise insulation. The buffet must be seen (see photo) Their "restaurant" is a superstructure in a corridor with an area of approximately 12 sq. m with four small tables for 8 people and two 60 cm bedside tables with "phenomena". I don't want to describe this 'diversity', look at the photo. It's not even 2 stars.
I booked a hotel a month ago, came to the reception, a guy doesn't speak Russian. I wrote through the translator that they had a problem with my number and there were no available rooms. They offered me another hotel. When I started to get indignant, the manager called and started lying that they had originally booked a room for me in another building. In fact, I came to another hotel, the reception said that they only now found out about me. And the surcharge was taken not 7.7 manat, but 13.3 manat. At the same time, the La casa hotel wrote to me a day in the mail, asking if I needed a transfer. And they didn't say a word that they had problems with the armor. I do not recommend the hotel to anyone!
A small hotel, it is better not to take an expensive room, since the windows will be in the courtyard and it will be quieter. Located in the center, breakfast for this price is normal.
Convenient location. Quietly. There is breakfast.
There is no elevator. The smell in the bathroom. In the shower cabin, it seems that the drain and corners are poorly washed, everything is covered with plaque / or mold, or you just need to replace the drain elements and correct the grout of the corners and tiles
Not a bad hotel, in the center, all the sights are within walking distance. It's a little noisy in the evenings outside the window. But these are trifles compared to impressions..
Staying in the old town is a plus. The rooms are small, the linen is not changed when there are new guests, the TV does not work well, the breakfasts are weak (scoop).
Not a bad hotel in the center of Baku. Of the minuses: the room smelled desperately of sewage (I think it was a feature of the old house) and strangely enough they were not allowed to postpone the check-out for an hour, although the hotel was clearly empty. They have the right, but somehow not very hospitable.
They throw tourists with armor.
Upon arrival and the presence of an active reservation, they say that there are no seats and they are not to blame, because of the mass event in Baku, another building is offered 10 times more expensive. I highly do not recommend it.
