Abkhazia is a country of Soul, but not of service (from the word quite in this place).
We had a rest in the middle of September 2022, the three of us. The junior Suite room. The room is not the first freshness. The walls are scuffed in places. The laminate floor is black (clean, do not clean, the dust is always visible). In twelve days, it looked like they had run through a mop once. The laminate has dispersed in places. The occupancy of the room is sufficient, but everything is so tired (it has not changed, probably since the year of construction). There are only two hangers in the closet, one of them is broken. The TV did not work in the entire "Guest house, hotel...???". Windows (dirty) without mosquito nets. We met everyone in the room. Butterflies, moths, wasps, tree bugs and sweet mosquitoes. The latter were fought with the help of a fumigator and pills for it. The bathroom is generally good, but there are no shelves for placing detergents in the shower stall. There are no hooks for clothes. Just a towel rack. There is no ventilation (an open window does not count). There were no interruptions with water (hot, cold). The plumbing equipment was working properly. Air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer (it was not in the room at check-in. The staff was very surprised how not...??? But then they brought it), a kettle on the terrace for eating (two per complex), an iron and ironing board (free of charge) in the "dressing room" Everything worked properly. Lighting (when the power was turned off, almost instantly the power came from the generator). I would like to note that WI-FI worked perfectly throughout the complex. There was a moment, after the power was turned off, there was no WI-FI for six hours. I emphasize that there has been no change of linen in twelve days. At least once the beds were redone. And the towels were replaced once. It was good to have our own (it's not the first year we've been riding around the world).
The territory of the complex is quite large, but empty. The complex is spread over three terraces. There are parking lots on the terraces. Residential buildings, the main building with a terrace for eating (always dirty. The floor has never been washed, crumbs and garbage behind the bar), a barbecue area (good-quality, but not well-groomed, and at times frankly dirty. Garbage is not cleaned for several days). Yes, there is a playground. Half dead. There is no video surveillance of the territory (it is not safe). There is no lighting along the path leading to the main entrance (the path is polluted with cow cakes, like the whole village), although lighting devices are available. In mid-September, it gets dark around 19-00.
On the positive side, there is a golf cart in the complex, which was taken to the beach and brought from the beach (especially from the beach when YOU are all relaxed), and sometimes at the request and a little to the sides. THANKS MURAT.
The kitchen worked, But the food was modest, even sparse (we had lunch and most often had dinner in the village, where there are lots of very tasty cafes, canteens). This is probably due to the end of the season. What was available from the food was cooked delicious (THANKS GIRLS).
The price does not match (5k/night for a junior suite), taking into account all of the above. And the "suite" with two bedrooms is 9k/night. The price is only for the square footage (accommodation) and the view from the balcony. But the SUITE is first of all comfort and coziness (impeccable).

I found this hotel in Yandex, looked at photos of reviews (by the way, at least a couple of photos are misleading and do not correspond to reality). I liked everything, I went. I drove to the hotel through Pitsunda, and the closer I drove to the hotel, the more the feeling crept in that I was going nowhere. I turned onto a gravel road, drove deep into some village (I did not reach 120m on the navigator), stopped and thought WHERE AM I? I turned around and left, I thought a divorce (because the photo with the clock in the reviews showed a restaurant and a hotel located in Gagra, which confused me that we were going to our goal, and the photo of the hotel by the sea 50m away from here at all). Perhaps it's his own fault that he didn't get to 120m, but is it possible to somehow mark the hotel on the signs that it is not even visible from a distance of 120m? In short, who knows how, but the flaw here is in the face, we have lost a client, perhaps none

I liked the hotel very much, we lived in a suite, the room is large, the staff is friendly, fulfills any request very quickly. There is a children's playground on site, which is not unimportant when relaxing with children. There is a shuttle service to any beach (free of charge). Delicious breakfasts. Of course, I would like to have lunches and dinners))

Among the advantages: a view from the window, if you are lucky with the number and a car that takes you to the sea and back. Because going uphill with children is still a pleasure. They are located on a mountain from the sea, the view is high, there are not many trees, there are no living creatures crawling in the room. A great plus is a lot of space where you can park your car. Also, plus a fenced area, you can let the child go for a walk, he will not run away anywhere. There is a children's square, but there is no lighting on it (as in most of the territory.
Of the cons: it's time to patch up the houses. As it was apparently built in 2019, nothing was done, where the crane is moving, where the shower pours in different directions, where the ties are hanging out. The rooms themselves are clean, but they are cleaned for three, until you point your finger, they never washed us under the bed.
We did not like the cuisine, it is more expensive than in other establishments and I would not say that it is delicious! They forget what they ordered and bring it for a long time. The kitchen itself is at the reception desk, right under everyone's nose. On the second floor there are tables, sofas, chairs, but while we lived, no one cleaned. Constantly dirty dishes, dirt on tables, bottles, ants. It wasn't very pleasant. Therefore, they refused to ride there.
There is a manual zone, some summer verandas, but everything is empty, without a soul!
The staff is quite strange, like all Abkhazians - they don't think a little. You tell them, they do one thing and another. Even the administrator herself (or she is the hostess in one person) completely forgot everything!
The lights were turned off every other day) but we didn't pay attention to that!
And another minus is the air conditioner above your head (
They should take it in their hands, patch up the service and determine the format!

Just the view. The rest is bad. Very. Rickety rooms, well, except for a brand new car that carries only 2 (!!) times a day to the sea. Nonsense; I do not recommend it with children, despite the presence of a playground. The bar/kitchen is closed. Although the store is not far away, it is extremely difficult to climb the hill. Room cleaning is again a big minus. The staff tried to persistently evict us from the paid room for 3 days to a worse room, saying that we were taken from the street and should be thanked for this. I stayed at this hotel at the end of June!
The location of the hotel is on the mountain.
It takes 15 minutes to walk down to the sea, it's already problematic to go up!
But the BMW ELECTRIC CAR carries the transfer on time, so there are no problems with the road to the sea! There were problems with food because the cook quit, there is a Bombucha cafe nearby In the evening you can smoke a hookah on the terrace, there is a barbecue area!

We went to swallow for 6 years in a row , the most beautiful view of the sea , nice cozy rooms , delicious food in the cafe ..but then it got worse..in recent years .....the rooms are not being repaired, the plumbing is dead, in some rooms the showers barely work, conduits and hoods, everything barely pulls, the cafe was converted into a "restaurant", the good in the restaurant is a pleasant interior, that's all it ends with.. the service is disgusting, in other respects, as well as the new staff (namely the restaurant, the hotel staff is very pleasant, responsive), the menu is meager, there are no local dishes, prices are like in an expensive Moscow restaurant, it takes a very long time to wait for an order, half of the products are not in everything, respectively, and you can not order much.. to promote the restaurant, all recreation areas were removed, there used to be tables with benches, barbecues, vacationers could use them at any time, now people are sitting on the ground in areas where Wi-Fi is catching, between houses on gravel, it's just not pleasant to sit in the "restaurant", the infinitely dissatisfied stares of the waiters are annoying...those who came for several years or, according to previous reviews, were very upset, there was no place to sit with the company, they could not fry a barbecue themselves, they observed different things, someone fried on a purchased barbecue outside the territory. those who did not find a barbecue , on bricks under the fence , so that no one would see , drove the vacationers under some kind of framework and made the rest not comfortable. out of pleasure, we bought a car that takes you to the sea ) The conclusion is as follows:prices for Abkhazia are expensive, we didn't even think about it before because everything was great, after this year we thought about choosing another hotel (it's a pity that everything has changed so much((

A good hotel, a little far from the sea, 10-12 minutes on foot, back with a lift. There is a mini restaurant (not a very large selection on the menu), but for a family holiday there is everything you need. For myself, I will note the only minus, street lighting shines strongly through the windows (probably the room is like that, unlucky), at night the room is as bright as day. Responsive staff. There is a pleasant playground on site. There are barbecues and tables on site.

The hotel is located on a hillside, in a quiet, sparsely populated place, away from the road and offers a relaxing holiday. It takes about 10-13 minutes to walk to the nearest beach, and about 17-20 minutes to reach the beach with pine trees.
