The hotel-restaurant, built with extraordinary care, is famous:
1. Elegant cuisine with delicious fish and meat dishes along the shores of Lake Sevan
2. Fantastic views of the famous lake from the balconies of the restaurant and from the guest rooms
3. Wonderful design and beautiful, high-quality finishes and furnishings of the rooms
4. Carefully protected green spaces of the complex with a unique local flavor
5. A secluded environment and the opportunity to enjoy the dark sand, a swarm of dragonflies and the purest water of Sevan in silence and without fuss
6. Lots of activities or the opportunity for a pleasant romantic walk along the coast in an incomparable environment
7. At the end of all the adventures, do not forget to taste local dishes again, which are very difficult to find analogues. Dairy, meat delicacies, vegetables and fruits, sauces, jams and spices and, of course, bread💖
We rested at the Bashinjaghyan hotel (the old name of the hotel is Lavash) for a week in the second line building in a room with a terrace. The room is large and clean - freshly renovated, new furniture. Cleaning is daily and available on request. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are two beaches for guests and guests of the restaurant. We swam and tanned everywhere. It is more free for guests and there are umbrellas.
The following can be said about the restaurant - the food is delicious and satisfying, BUT on weekends there are often no places for guests. Thanks to Arthur, the best employee of the restaurant, this discomfort was avoided. Arthur, thank you again very much for the comfortable breakfasts and lunches in the restaurant, and especially for the hot coffee.
At least once in your life you need to live here to meet the dawn and spend the sunset at the majestic Sevan in this amazing hotel. The restaurant employs the most talented chefs and the most friendly waiters! The rooms with stunning panoramic views of Sevan are cozy, clean, colorful, spacious. The bed linen and towels are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone for the unique atmosphere in which we rested body and soul.
Nice place, authentic :)
Nice clean beach with a changing cabin. We had a nice swim.
Minus one star for the food. The food is good, but not great. There are many better places in Armenia.
The hotel itself corresponds to its cost , stunning views of the mountains and Sevan , the food is excellent in the hotel restaurant , friendly staff , the first coastline , the territory is clean , the cleaning is good , the weather in Sevan is cool even in July
Charm, sheer charm, a Greek-style hotel, spacious rooms, the coast of the lake is clean, good delicious breakfasts, a top-class restaurant! Lake Sevan is my love forever
25.08 we stopped at this hotel. It was Sunday and a lot of people came to the restaurant (apparently the locals love this restaurant), but this in itself did not cause discomfort, there was no loud music and shouting on the street. The screams were in the next two rooms. In the room on the right, a man shouted something very loudly every 7 minutes and there was a dull but very audible thump.
A company settled in the room on the left, and drank, the smell of alcohol was felt at the entrance to the rooms. Men were talking loudly /shouting loudly, women were laughing as loudly as possible and apparently this company constantly needed to rearrange furniture, because chairs and a table were constantly rattling. There is no sound insulation. At 22:00 we went to the administrator to be relocated, but by that time he simply was not there (the door to the office was closed), only the watchman grandfather remained, who logically does not manage these things. At 23:00 I was standing on the porch hoping that at 23:00 they would calm down and leave, but at 23-02 from this room I heard loud moans of a woman. I returned to the room, my wife had eyes of 200 drams from these sounds, my daughter, thank God, did not understand anything. We packed up and went, because they won't let us sleep. We gave the grandfather's key and went. It's cold in the room, we only warmed up in the car.
The next day, the administrator called back and asked for payment for the second day, which in fact had not yet begun. The administrator said that the neighbors have moved out and you can return. Naturally, we have already found a room in Yerevan (it's also a pleasure to call hotels at 12 a.m. in another country with a half-asleep child in the back seat). The administrator eventually said that he would clarify whether he would be able to return the money to us and that was that.
Shalman for the morning@khushek, appreciate yourself your precious time in this beautiful country!!!
Interesting authentic design, great view of Lake Sevan from the window, batteries in the rooms, heated towel rail in the bathroom - it's not cold. Affectionate domestic cats walk on the territory, come into the room if invited) We stayed for a couple of days, satisfied. The breakfasts were served in the restaurant, good ones.
Good location, friendly staff, unusual rooms. Excellent breakfasts, good restaurant cuisine.
But: problems with the faucet in the shower: either boiling water or cold water, Wi-Fi breaks in the room, uncomfortable mattresses on the beds.
We stayed for 1 night, took 7 rooms. In room 1, at 3 a.m., a circuit breaker went off in the closet and knocked and screamed like that for an hour. There is no phone number, it was unclear what to do.
Another room smelled of burning, the child inhaled it and vomited all night.
In the third room, someone was walking on the roof, maybe cats, but the sound was strong.
The floors in the house are cold, take slippers. Beach towels are not provided.
We went to dinner at 20.40, we were told that the kitchen closes in an hour. We tried to order quickly, as a result, the staff was too lazy to even cut a lemon into tea.
We went to lunch at 15, as a result, we waited an hour for service. There are no other food options within walking distance.
The advantages are the location, its own clean beach, beautiful surroundings.
We rested here in the middle of March, stayed for two nights, because there was a long road ahead to other cities. I liked everything very much, delicious cuisine, cozy, well-maintained rooms with a beautiful view of Sevan Island. But most of all, we were attracted by the warm attitude of the hotel administration and the waiters, who, after learning that we were going to leave early in the morning and would not get to breakfast, packed lunch boxes with food for us on the road, which helped us out a lot the next day! Thank you so much for your hospitality
A beautiful and peaceful place. Cozy interior, delicious food, convenient location. Thanks to the hotel staff, wonderful and friendly people who do everything possible to make your stay complete)
Special thanks for an interesting and eventful excursion to Dilijan Arsen, I recommend it) p.s. Ask the hotel receptionist
In general, 10/10, if your desire is to go on a long-awaited vacation and relax as much as possible. For me, this place has become one of the few places where I want to return)
A very peaceful, quiet place.
However, some things that are written in the booking are not, for example, table tennis or room service.
The rooms are authentic, vintage. Slippers that are given out are not very comfortable, so I advise you to bring your own)
The hotel is good for its level. Large rooms, clean enough, view of Sevan, very authentic territory, but if you go in the cold season, you can freeze in the bathroom, the room is heated well if you first warm it up with a cannon)
For breakfast they give: snacks and fried eggs with sausages. There is no choice.
The coffee is just filled with boiling water
A very cozy hotel with a good restaurant right on the shore of Sevan.
Beautiful territory, delicious dishes in the restaurant, its own beach with sun beds.
Important - there are different room categories. We stayed in a 3-bed room overlooking the lake and it was very beautiful. The room is large, with 2 beds and 1 bed, a table with sofas, a kettle and a refrigerator. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. The only drawback is that there are very few outlets and half of them are melted. The Internet was working all over the territory, but on the first day it was not from the word at all.
Be sure to take a fumigator with you, the nets on the windows do not save you from mosquitoes. The breakfasts are not very varied, but we were pleased with the fruits and pastries. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the prices were pleasantly pleased. I recommend the whitefish kebab.

The best thing about this trip to Lake Sevan is the local restaurant. Everything is very tasty! Crayfish neck cradle, kebab, bread, vegetables, especially at the finish, local ice cream (raspberry is unique!) and Armenian coffee! The lake itself is cold, the beaches are reminiscent of Soviet times. The nature is beautiful! A 20-minute drive away you can see and visit the ancient temple! Impressive!
The food is very tasty. Beautiful landscape of Lake Sevan. The staff is very polite to the guests. The dishes are clean. The numbers are too. The downside is that my room stinks of sewage. I think it's because the last room is on the edge. Also, the breakfasts are not very good.
We had a rest in October at this hotel. We really wanted an unusual authentic atmosphere and we got it: cozy rooms with a gorgeous view of the lake. It was very cool to drink tea and look into the distance , at the lake and the temple on the island . The room is warm, there is everything you need. The breakfasts are good, we had enough.
The hotel is wonderful ! Very cozy, beautiful, the view of the lake is magical 💙 there are a lot of cats on the territory🥰 there is a great restaurant with delicious food. In the morning, a chic breakfast was served, we were delighted!
This lovely hotel has left the fondest memories. We dream of returning to Lavash once again! Everything is with soul and very stylish. The hotel is designed in a national style.Cleanliness is everywhere: plumbing, bed, towels, territory.
Delicious breakfasts. We had a room on line 1- the terrace is a favorite place from dawn to dusk. Thanks to the staff for the hospitality!
We rested here in June for several days. As soon as we entered the room, we fell in love with him at first sight. Beautiful view from the window directly onto the lake. It is a pleasure to watch how quickly the weather changes on the lake.
Bathroom with unusual mosaic tiles.
They give disposable slippers, soap, shampoo. There is a small fridge and a kettle.
The bed is comfortable, there is a warm blanket.
I would like to mention breakfast separately. We thought there would be a bun and coffee, but it turned out to be a buffet with a large selection of delicious food. As King Solomon said, "there is nothing better for a man than to rejoice... and that a man should eat and drink and enjoy his work. It's a gift from God." Coming to dinner at this wonderful restaurant, we fully felt the correctness of these words. There are many Armenian dishes on the menu at pleasant prices.
The most pleasant impressions remained from this place. Let's come back here again...
Nice hotel. I want to highlight the restaurant separately. Perhaps the best hotel in Sevan, especially considering the low cost.
The rooms have a great view of the lake (located right on the shore). There is a private beach with sun beds and an entrance to the water.
A good breakfast
I didn't understand the beauty of the place at all. The room was shown smelly. There is no descent to the lake, as the administrator replied to us.The uncle gestures where to park, saying, go there and there. You come out and like a dog, it runs out from under some kind of structure and growls. A little heartbreak on the outskirts of this beautiful base did not happen.
This hotel is the best of all where we stayed in Armenia. Very cozy rooms with a wonderful view of Sevan. A delicious and voluminous breakfast buffet, also with a view of the lake. A delicious restaurant with affordable prices. Very cozy and pleasant area. An excellent choice in terms of price-quality ratio.
Score two, since everything we faced in 2 days turned out to be mediocre or worse. Further details.
It was not possible to have dinner (we returned after the restaurant), but the breakfasts were very, very mediocre. The only delicious thing was a cupcake. Breakfast started at 9, but everyone had to wait another 10 minutes for everything to be taken out.
Despite the description of the room, we got without a table and chairs, because the terrace is passable. The neighbors had it, but you can still look for such crooked and crumbling furniture))
The furniture in the room was also so-so and the mattresses were not hard, they creaked. Lake view, as promised, but double-glazed windows with fogged spots inside. The floor is stone, there are tiles in the bathroom, but you definitely need to wear shoes.
Parking is bad with places because restaurant visitors came and there were a lot of them - by 21 it was possible to park the car. On the beach there are either wooden sun beds or iron ones covered with poorly stretched transparent fabric. The water is cold (July). Children's swing - sadness)
They took dry red house wine from them (2500 drams per liter) - in a guest house in Tatev they took it better for 2000 per liter.
Great at night, first the frogs screamed, and then the seagulls (all night) - authentic)
Perhaps their dinners are not bad, but I do not recommend living there and having breakfast if you are not for "authenticity"))
The hotel itself is very beautiful. A wonderful courtyard, a view of the lake, its own clean beach with benches, umbrellas and sun beds. The hotel has a restaurant with normal prices, no need to go anywhere to look for a place to eat. The food in the restaurant is average, we took shish kebab and dolma. The kebab is not all pieces are successful, the dolma was falling apart. But you can eat.
Why 2 stars then? I give such an assessment for the staff. I was injured: when I sat down on the sunbed, the sunbed folded under me (apparently, the leg was standing straight, but there was no stopper), pinching my finger hard. I was left without a nail, on painkillers and daily bandages. But the most unpleasant thing is how the staff behaved. There was no first-aid kit in the hotel, they searched for peroxide and at least some kind of bandage for a long time. My husband tried to help me and keep an eye on the young children. No one came out, did not help to get to the room (it became bad, I was practically lying on the steps), did not bring water. The hotel is responsible for injuries sustained on its premises, especially on its equipment. Absolutely no involvement. We went to the hospital, we didn't know if we would return or not, we decided to check out of the room. Detail: we just checked into the room, we didn't live there. The staff refused to refund the full cost to us, arguing that there were a lot of orders, and because of us they would lose 3 tr. No one cared what I would lose. Moreover, it was the installation of the head! They were threatened with court, the money was returned.
I understand that anything can happen and you can't foresee everything. And we liked the hotel. But this attitude of the staff is simply unacceptable. No one even looked at the sunbed so that you would understand or try to figure out what happened. If there was a child in my place, I would have been left without a finger.
In order to properly evaluate hotels of this level, you need to visit at least 5-6 different ones!
I haven't had such an experience in three during the week.
So the rooms in lavash and I looked at them 4 times, the same type of interior as in the economy economy hostel. The ceiling is OSB stove, tile floor, sol chair curtains- a sheet through which a street lamp shines all night(((
beds are plywood pillows trouble((( there is no TV, the toilet flushes badly, hot water for two is not enough boller is small((( in short, comfort "0"
The first 10 minutes there was a desire to run away in search of another Housing but the time was late, it was just like one night of everything.
Breakfast for 4 people.
In short, maybe the time of the year is not that May.
There was nothing to see in Sevan in this place!
An atmospheric and authentic place. If you are used to comfort and 5* stars, then you are not going there. It's like staying with a grandmother in the village. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and inexpensive. I recommend a visit, the view is a masterpiece)
We lived for three nights. We took it with a view of the lake. The room has a large panoramic window, a kettle, soap accessories. It's very good for such a price. The mattresses are tired, but fine. The only big minus is the lack of wifi. He is there, but he is not) I was saving the mobile Internet
We stayed at this hotel for a day at the end of November. And we really liked it there, we'll come back again.
We were settled earlier than the scheduled time. The rooms are cozy with a designer interior designed to resemble a traditional Armenian dwelling. It also looks very interesting from the outside. The room was very warm, which is very important for this time of year. Soap, shampoo, hair dryer, kettle with cups, tea and coffee, slippers. The water in the shower is hot, no problem with that. Lake view from the window of the room and restaurant. Delicious and inexpensive food. For example, a good portion of fish soup is 800 drams. In the morning, breakfast is without options, but we liked it. It was very large and everything was delicious: a basket of lavash, butter, Armenian cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, 2 types of jam, scrambled eggs, biscuits for tea. Tea and coffee to choose from.
A great hotel right on the shore of Sevan. The rooms are clean, cozy, and the heating was turned on at night (it was not hot in the first half of May). The breakfasts are also very tasty, although somewhat monotonous.
And also, two kitties live on the territory!
A very atmospheric place, comfort, warmth, delicious food. The sound of a small sea. The staff is above all praise, they will tell you everything, they will solve all questions.
We stayed at the hotel in May. The rooms are magnificent. I got a room with a view of Sevan. The trout cooked by the chef at the restaurant for dinner was excellent. I recommend this hotel.
A very atmospheric and cozy place with a good view of Sevan, in winter the rooms are warm. The food is very tasty and generous. But the main thing is the staff. We punctured a tire on the way to the hotel, the receptionist literally solved this problem for us in a matter of hours, although it was late in the evening. Real Armenian hospitality, warmth and care are felt here.
One of the most decent hotels on the beach. The price for the room is high, from 4000 rubles a day. There is a restaurant on site. If you decide to go for the sake of famous crayfish, then it's not worth it. The price per kg starts from 5000 rubles.
