A wonderful vacation on the shore of Hubsugul! Clean territory, very clean and cozy houses and yurts, delicious cuisine with an abundance of meat. Great fishing, with the opportunity to cook delicious fish yourself. Very friendly hosts and a great concert as a bonus!!! I definitely recommend it!

A picturesque, beautiful place 10 steps from the purest lake. They heated the stove, caught and salted fish, carried water, fell asleep to the sound of waves, woke up to the cries of seagulls. If you are used to comfort and landscaping, then this place is not for you. Here is a rest for the soul: away from the "soul" of civilization and the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything is measured and calm here. There is light, there is a kitchen and a bar. A great sauna is a step away from it, a lake where you can plunge and cool your ardor. He eats barbecue areas, yurts, houses...

An incredibly attractive place.We lived in houses, of course it would be better in a yurt, but we have a tour with houses booked by a guide.It's not bad either.In the cafe you can order breakfast the day before, dinner the day before.Everything is very tasty and inexpensive.They rested in the gazebos on warm June evenings,
cooked kebabs from caught fish.And they even fought in Khubsugul.We had a very cool rest.And of course, there are places to go and things to see.

There is nothing good except a beautiful lake. The well-maintained house turned out to be unsettled, there is a heater that does not heat. There was no light, only in the morning and evening from the generator. An old washbasin, into which you bring the water yourself, somehow wash something, and then take the bucket out to it is unclear where. The prices are high and do not correspond at all to the quality of the services provided. If you are ready for a complete thrash and dive into the distant 90s, then velkam. Dirt as a way of life. There was a shower, although it was paid for 300 rubles, but it did not work either. There is also a sauna. If you want to wash, carry buckets of water. After such a bath, you don't feel anything except a sore back and disappointment. No shelves, no chairs. We were washing the children and then the lights were turned off. It was a disaster, soap got in my eyes, it's dark around. We waited until the miracle generator was started. This was the last straw, the decision was made to leave early in the morning. Things were collected at night. There is also a sauna on the shore, take water right there and cook food. Super, but it was too good for us that we couldn't stand the whole rest period. The Yaks are beautiful all around, even if they were admired. We will not come here anymore, as well as to the lake in general. I had enough rest for a long time, perhaps forever.

Excellent base. We lived in a yurt, with stove heating. The friends lived in a house with electric heating. The territory is clean and well maintained, there is a cafe. There is a well-equipped bathroom and shower in a separate building. There are gazebos, barbecue areas.

Pros: the hosts are friendly, speak both Mongolian and Russian; the campsite is in Yandex maps, easy to find; shops nearby; right on the shore - it's convenient to swim; nice warm yurts with a stove and providing even comfortable warmth; delicious food at reasonable prices; WiFi in the cafe. There are live music concerts and cat shows. Convenient parking. There is a sauna at the edge of the lake.
On the downside, as everywhere in this area, there are few vegetables on the menu. But there is a lot of meat, and it is very tasty.

One of the disadvantages is
that the houses have a very thin mattress, you sleep like on a board, and pillows measuring 40x30 like for babies. The bed linen is very tired, there are no towels, you need to take it with you.

We were at this base for only a day, although we planned for three.Maria met us and fed us noodle soup with a long yak hair floating in it, they made a remark, a cook came up and took it out with dirty hands and did not even change the dish until they asked for it, the food was disgusting, like the owners of the base, it was the first and last time, we do not recommend a vacation at this base!!!

The best campsite in Hankha! On the very shore (literally ten steps to the lake). Brand new, 4-seater yurts, neat 2-, 3-, 4-seater houses , a fairy tale restaurant. There is everything you need for relaxation, gazebos, a barbecue area, swings, benches on the shore, a sauna (near the lake). The view of the lake is gorgeous. There is a pier nearby from which grayling is caught in summer. The Barberry store is three minutes away on foot (prices are the lowest in Barberry!)
The owner's name is Amar. A kind, hospitable, clean and economical man with golden hands...He created such beauty, he did everything himself! The territory is tidy and clean. He helped us with fishing, photography, and organized a tour to sacred sites.
The kitchen is awesome. Yak meat, booze, poses - yes, with Mongolian vodka....the song is unforgettable.
Nowadays, it is rare to meet people who try for a tourist not for the sake of money, but for the sake of your pleasure and a pleasant stay.
Amar, my friend, we just fell in love with your base "The Legend of Hubsugul"! THANK you for an unforgettable vacation. Now only you have a vacation in Mongolia! 🤗 🇲🇳🤝🇷🇺

A yurt, an interesting place to stay overnight, but for an amateur. So, 90 percent of all arriving tourists are drunks of both sexes and their unruly Russian children, who leave an indelible mark on the memory of this lake for the entire time of their arrival. Alas, there is a nuance of the ugly behavior of fellow planets in all places of arrival of the rashenturistus. Otherwise, it's an ordinary campsite, I'm not surprised. The staff is friendly, the area is tidy. The food is offered without frills, the price is not great.
