A wonderful hotel in Milan! Despite its location in Chinatown, it is designed in a classic English colonial style. Once it was the Hermitage Hotel, and the atmosphere of the ancient hotel is preserved here. Slightly “age-related” interior elements only add comfort and create the feeling that you are in the era of Victorian England.
The rooms are spacious, warm and quiet. There is everything for convenience: a full bath, unlimited hot water, lots of towels, sockets and excellent Wi-Fi (without restrictions on the number of connected devices). The bed linen is of high quality, the bed is very comfortable. You can adjust the room temperature yourself.
The service is excellent. The maids clean delicately, without knocking and fuss, change towels daily, understand what to clean and what to leave. The reception is always ready to help, and luggage can be left in a special storage room after check-out if the flight is late.
Breakfast is worth its 15 euros: a huge selection of dishes — from sausages, red fish and fresh fruits to a variety of pastries and drinks. Everything is delicious and served in spacious halls.
For me, the key parameters are warmth, comfort and silence. This hotel fully meets my expectations. I recommend it to those who appreciate classics and comfort!
Nice hotel, quite clean even when compared with other areas of Milan. Yes, the furniture is not new, but everything is in good condition. Not a very good pressure in the shower. It is located in Chinatown, it is a bit far to the subway, but in general it is normal.
