A small international airport, located in the Docklands area of Newham in East London. It is easy to get there by public transport (DLR and metro). It is better to check in for a flight online, there are only a few check-in counters at the airport. Since it is considered "internal", there is no customs, few waiting areas, several cafes and one giftshop.
It is a very intimate and interesting airport almost in the center of London. It accepts small planes from local airlines and from nearby European cities. Incomparable in scale with Heathrow and
Gatwick, but very cozy.
A modern airport in east London, conveniently accessible by DLR train. It is in demand among those who live and work near the Canary Wharf business district. I fly from this airport to Geneva and Zurich - it is very convenient.
