Very nice hotel with good rooms and views on the city center. Tried both restaurants - Nebo (Sky, at the 15th floor with panoramic views, pan Asian cuisine) and the Georgian one at the ground floor. NEBO is attractive with bits views and the dark atmosphere (if you are there in the evening), but I was not impressed with the food: I’ve tried crab cebab and it was very salty. My comment was accepted by stuff but no other reaction then that - the good service restaurant would propose the change of the dish. Georgian restaurant is nicely decorated, with variety of foods in menu but not only Georgian. I’ve tried the beefstroganoff (I’ve ordered the burger but they’ve brought me beefstroganov, so I don’t go into the discussions) and it was fine, not the best I’ve ever tried but fine. I’ve asked for additional salty cucumber and that could have been served as a « bonus from chief », but even that was included into the bill which is also not rather common for the high class restaurant. Overall the staff is rather service oriented at the hotel. I’ve also tried the SPA zone - poor area is small, but not crowded. Massage was good as well as the manicure. One thing was spoiling the impression a bit that I have made an appointment for manicure and I was not take I’ll have to pay extra 20% because it has appeared to be later then working hours. I was only take about that when the service was delivered and I came to the front desk to pay. I’ve mentioned that I was not informed about this condition but there was no reaction except the notice that it might have been the new specialist who was making my appointment and she didn’t notice that. Why should I pay for someone’s mistakes?! The room was really spacious and well set up. I would improve the bath design as the water spills all over as you are showering - the glass protection is too short to avoid this. I recommend this hotel if you see in Samara.
