We arrived at the hotel at 2 a.m. We were fed a little. They moved into an old room. But they did not change it, everything was clean, the refrigerator and the refrigerator worked properly. And, most importantly, the second floor, a balcony. Immediately ask for the second floor, otherwise you risk being left without a balcony, but just with a platform in front of the room, where you will be in full view of passing tourists. During the 2 weeks of stay, there was always hot water. The pressure in the shower was normal. We asked to do the cleaning once every three days. They cleaned cleanly, changed linen and towels.
Wi-Fi cost $ 5 a day, so we bought a local SIM card from the guide for $ 7, which was enough for almost 2 weeks for correspondence in whatsapp.
The territory of the hotel is small, but quite green - large and small palm trees, bushes and flowers. The beach is about 200 meters, sandy. The entrance is gentle and comfortable. Special bathing shoes are not needed. There are corals not far from the shore, it is interesting to look at them and at the fish. There were always enough sun beds. There are abandoned cigarette butts and cups near the sun beds. The sunbeds are cleaned, but not very carefully. The beach itself is clean.
There are 4 bars on site. 2 of them are by the pools, one on the beach and another at the restaurant. The last two work until 23-00.
The restaurant is small, but the food is varied and delicious. There is always beef, fish, and chicken. Soup for lunch and dinner. And for dinner there are two soups to choose from. Salads and fresh vegetables. A variety of side dishes. Lots of sweets. The fruits are mainly melons, grapes and oranges.
Alcohol leaves much to be desired. Whiskey and rum are disgusting (although we have seen the Germans drinking them with might and main).wine is sour. More or less, you can drink ouzo (aniseed vodka), and gin, which does not taste like gin, but at least does not taste like acetone. The beer is ordinary.
Russians are not the majority in the hotel. There are many Germans and Poles. There are also Ukrainians.
In general, we were satisfied with the hotel and would return even more

I'll make a reservation right away that for me a vacation is not a luxury room and stuff like that, but a gorgeous sea and sun.
The room in the Lotus is tired, the furniture is chipped. But everything worked fine.
The food is pretty monotonous, but you can always find something that suits you specifically.
The hotel is not big, but for us, with a child of 4 years old, it was a plus. And I didn't have to go far in the heat!
The staff is helpful and friendly.
There is not enough entertainment - every day there is a children's disco (with the same songs) and an adult one. 2 times a week belly dancing and a boy twisting a huge "skirt", once there was a fire show.
But the main thing about the hotel is the sandy beach all along the entrance to the sea and the magnificent reef.
Overall, we liked everything. If the food situation could be improved, it would be a great hotel

In general, the hotel is comfortable for relaxation. PS there are no restrictions on food, drinks (in pm and alcohol). There is a bookstore at the reception, billiards, paid Internet access throughout the hotel (for an expensive price).

I can survive almost anything except unsanitary conditions. When you take a chair by the handle in the dining room to move it away and then wash your hands, because they have become sticky and dirty, and your hands stick to the table, the waiters bring drinks in dirty, stained, unwashed glasses - this is too much. Moreover, the waiters manage to assign dates to vacationers. Dirty linen with stains can be laid on the beds, and this is considered the norm. I do not recommend the hotel.

Great hotel, we would love to come back here. We had a family vacation from 15 to 25.08.23. Very friendly staff. A beautiful beach and a gorgeous sea with its own reef. The hotel is not new, the room stock is different. It can be seen that the rooms are being renovated gradually. We got the old one when we checked in, but for $ 50 we were changed to a new one after repair. The food in the hotels is good, you will not stay hungry. There are 4 bars on site. 2 work until 17 o'clock, and 2 work until 23 o'clock. The bar has 2 types of light beer, of good quality. White and red wine. Strong local alcohol, whiskey, rum, gin and vodka. We took an excursion to Luxor from a local tour operator, I recommend it. The hotel guide Anextur offered prices of $ 80/45 per person, we went for $ 32/16. From 10 a.m. to evening, animators try to entertain vacationers. On the last day of our vacation, a large batch of new sunbeds was brought to the beach.

We arrived at night, we were settled in a terrible room, the air conditioner "coffin" on the wall, a dirty curtain at the corner of the soul (to disgust), broken sockets, when the air conditioner was turned on, the light turned off, after a call to the reception an employee came who allegedly did not understand Russian and fortunately he taught us how to use the air conditioner. The night passed like hell (a noisy conder and thoughts of really having to live in a barn for all 10 days).By the way, all the photos of the terrible room from the reviews are real, unfortunately, I could not save them. In the morning, the issue was resolved naturally for a fee (a good room next to the sea and a good view from the window, although the view from the windows, as far as I understood, is mostly beautiful everywhere, except for a few rooms). If you check out at 12:00, if you need to extend the room, then there is also a fee for this (no one will just extend it). Then everything was more or less. Modest food: meat goulash, boiled beef or chicken (grilled a couple of times), since I didn't really like them, later I tried them turned out to be good), then I ate a lot of fish (she is also an average person). Side dishes: pasta, rice, vegetables and mashed potatoes (by the way, which was not always there). The breakfasts are standard: eggs, omelets, buns, pancakes, breakfast cereals, a couple of types of cheese and vegetables. From fruits: dates, melons and oranges, oh yes, watermelon was given 2 times. Sweets, but I've tried them a couple of times. There are no snacks by the pool. Drinks: At the restaurant for lunch and dinner, white and red wine from packages + beer (but it will be difficult for you to wait for them if you do not tip! Since alcoholic drinks are located on the territory of the kitchen (that's how I understood it. By the arrival of some guests, the table was even already set with drinks in glass glasses.). Gin, vodka, rum of local production in bars and only in the oriental bar will make you beautiful and delicious cocktails. Soft drinks in plastic cups (but after coronavirus, we thought they were better than glass)
The main contingent of the hotel is Germans, so the staff speaks German and English or Arabic, very few words are spoken in Russian, if it comes to something that needs to be corrected, they immediately ask to speak English (this was the case at the reception). Surprisingly, I liked talking with representatives of Anex tour, this is Abdul (he was at the hotel, he was in touch with us all the time, always answered our questions) and Muhammad (accompanied us on a water trip and did everything possible to make the trip comfortable, there were some points that he solved and it was pleasant)
The sea, entering it, the beach, the sun - it's all wonderful and even here there were their own, but: there was always wind, but now I don't even consider it a minus. Because on the only day of calm, there was a smell of diesel fuel from the boats that stand and float out to sea next to the bathing places. And many guests of this hotel write about this, unfortunately, no one has solved this issue. There are 3 reefs with fish + a huge and beautiful turtle swims to eat grass. The hotel grounds are beautiful.
If you do not pay attention to all these troubles (which we eventually did after changing the room), then the rest was a success. I am writing this so that you understand where you are going and be ready if you decide to come here.

Now the cons, I was able to beg for a hairdryer on the sixth day, on the beach from the Menavil hotel all the sunbeds are broken, the beach is not removed from the word at all, mattresses from the sunbeds are lying around and there is no business to them, you don't put food in the restaurant yourself, a plate is served through the window and you show what to put, I don't eat a lot, but when you tell them one sausage or a piece of meat, they impose more and as a result the food is thrown away, because it is not eaten, in the morning which pancakes are left they are allowed on some kind of salad is not clear. Pros: the room was given a large one, without extra charges for 4 people there were two 1.5 double beds (for children) and one huge double. Shampoo, soap, and toilet paper are replenished as they are used. The food suited us, we are not picky. The breakfasts are the same - omelette, pancakes, vegetable salads, cheeses, sausage, pastries from the main, delicious coffee from the coffee machine. Lunch and dinner are varied - there is always chicken, beef, fish. The territory of the hotel is large and beautiful, the coastline is long, there are not many people in the sea. The staff is not intrusive. Boilers, as in many hotels of this level, are local strong alcohol, juices, soda, bottled beer. There are several shops across the street in front of the hotel, there are also shops on site, a paid bar with ice cream and cocktails. They don't give you ice cream for free. Swimming pool - there are 3 pools on the territory, one for children, one large main and one near the beach with a bar, but the bar was not working in June 2023. The beach bar is large and located next to the sea. There is a playground with a slide and different swings. There is animation - they do exercises, Aqua aerobics, volleyball games, children's discos and performances.

There was no duvet cover in the room. They asked for a duvet cover, the staff pretends that they do not understand us. The rooms are in poor condition. Moving from room to room is $30. They don't like Russian tourists.

The check-in was quick, thanks helped and we got the room after the renovation, clean, cozy, everything worked fine, the plumbing was generally new, the air conditioner cooled well.The territory is probably medium-sized , as for me , there is not enough greenery, there are several swimming pools, the main one is always packed to the brim with people . The beach is a few minutes away, it is large, sandy, with good access to the water , the sea in August surprised me that it was not like fresh milk , but really refreshing, especially in the morning , which is of course pleasant in such heat.There is no super reef here, there are only a few coral bumps, but there are a lot of fish and turtles can often be seen, and of course I have never seen such a gorgeous color of the sea.I will not write much about food , personally we were satisfied that it is there at all, we did not see anything super special , a typical set of dishes on the Egyptian buffet , rice is delicious here, a lot of vegetables , meat chicken mainly , beef stewed with vegetables , very little fruit . Alcohol is clearly local, strong if mixed with cola, then you can drink , the fact that strong drinks at 20 degrees personally suited me quite well. There is animation in the hotel, there is all the entertainment both in the afternoon and in the evening, we only played volleyball, this is quite enough for us. We first chose Paradise Island from the trips, but there are a lot of people there, we didn't like it, then we went to Utopia Island, that one is super there, we also took a bathyscaphe via Facebook from Mido Bikham, everything is very expensive from the hotel guide. Mido also has its own page on the eliteargan Instagram, where you can choose and buy original Egyptian oils. There is nothing interesting near the hotel, there are a couple of overpriced shops and that's it, there is nowhere to walk, it's far from the city. In general, we were quite satisfied with our vacation, the hotel is not expensive, the service is so-so , but the sea here is excellent, and we went first of all for it.

The hotel does not match the stated 4* from the word "absolutely". He does not pull more than 2*. The advantages are the beautiful territory and the sea. The rooms want repairs, especially plumbing. Swedish food is the same every day, the choice is minimal. Tea and coffee are only for breakfast, then the devices are turned off. In bars, on the beach and by the pool, food is only for money. Free of charge is only a wino and from 16 to 17 a spicy paper sausage with a bun. There is no animation. The contingent is mainly elderly Germans. The Internet is paid and there is practically no Internet. I do not recommend it.

We had a family vacation at the end of August 2023. We took 2 rooms. There is no smell of the declared 4 stars.
Wi-Fi is paid. 10 bucks for a week.
They say there are normal rooms after renovation. We got 2 rooms, to put it mildly, bad ones. There is a smell from the air conditioner when it is turned on, so the filter is not changed. There are streaks, blisters, cracks on the plaster on the ceiling and on the walls. The curtains are all dusty. The shower stall was leaking. The bed linen has holes in places. The towels are clean but stained.
Room cleaning deserves a special moment. Yes. It is daily and includes only changing towels, making the bed, taking out the trash from the baskets and adding a roll of paper. That's it! The linen has not been changed once in a week. The floor has never been washed. The toilet too.
Now about the food. It is very monotonous and not tasty. They put very little. You're always asking me to plant it.
The animation for children is the same every day. Absolutely. Boring.
Now about the advantages. Nice territory of the hotel, the sea is right 10 steps away. Basically, that's it.
We talked with the hotel guests, they say that for such a price, other Safaga hotels have much better conditions.

The hotel was vacationed from 09.01.2022 to 18.01. This hotel can hardly pull 2 stars. Of the advantages, this is a green area and a good beach, the rest are disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage is the rooms: the audibility is like living in a cardboard box with wooden slamming doors in the neighboring rooms. In almost all rooms, the air conditioners do not work, and if they work, it is very loud that it is not possible to sleep. The furniture is very old. In the dining room, every piece of meat is given as a favor (it feels like you're walking with a plate to ask for food) . For 10 days, the menu has not changed except for empty soups. And in conclusion. I have vacationed in Egypt many times and am not very pretentious and capricious, and I wholeheartedly recommend that you do not visit this hotel!!!!

We rested for two weeks from the end of August 2021
The sea is a thrill. Warm, transparent, with a bunch of marine life (a variety of fish, squid, octopus, sea turtles, and hedgehogs, where without them).
We got a tired room, but we came to rest, not to sit in it, so on the whole it was passable. The air conditioner is super-old and noisy, but it cools well. And be prepared for a weak pressure of water from the shower (especially water supply in Egypt).
The food seems to be varied, but it was difficult to choose, because the cuisine of Egypt is not mine. Lots of vegetables, salads, chicken, beef and fish every day, periodically grilled dishes. Fruits are negligible. The desserts are beautiful and not bad, but monotonous. Alcoholic cocktails can be drunk, but without much pleasure.
The animators did well, they tried their best. Simba, Chocolate, warm greetings to you ✌🏻 at noon aquaerobics, show in the evening.
The rooms are cleaned every day, with the replacement of toiletries and boats made of towels.
A separate plus for the well-groomed territory - everything is in greenery and flowers. Gardeners work day and night.
The rest is calm, quiet and measured, for fans of hanging out and moving is not suitable.

Two stars only for the beach, it is sandy, and for the territory, it is very green.
The rest is a complete disappointment, the food is monotonous, nothing has changed in a week, even the greens were gone, Friday evening was a holiday - there were lula, the rest of the days rice, fish and chicken in batter, potatoes, in the canteen neither in Russian nor in English, some speak German, so either in Arabic or on their fingers.
They are settled by default in a shed like a viper house, for 30-40 bucks you can move into something similar to a normal room.
Anex, as always, is at a "height", promised a kettle and a hair dryer in the room, called the hotel for the entire period of our stay, but before the eviction, neither the first nor the second was found for us.
In a bar by the sea, sour beer in 0.2 cups, in bottles for money, vodka-whiskey-rum in plastic is local, it does not differ much in taste. Food for money.
During the day there is one Russian-speaking bartender, in English you can order something slowly.
In the evening, a nasty mustachioed bartender, spits only in German or pretends that he does not understand English, but he is like the best bartender of the hotel, so the goose. The Germans, the main contingent, drink a glass of wine an hour and sniff a hookah, so the desire to drink beer in a normal evening will not work.
Conclusions: duty free on arrival is mandatory according to the full program, animation can be said no, fun only in the evening at the disco for two hours, then the most "funny" Germans flow into the hookah bar, if the sea and excursions are enough for a week, everything starts to bother you more in time: food, communication, alcohol, entertainment. Well, if you know German perfectly, then you can last another half a week.
