A very nice hotel, a friendly host, the maid knew Russian, and helped us find the places in Istanbul that we were interested in! The room is decent, good cleaning, tea, coffee, sugar, and water in the room! Nice, pleasant atmosphere! Top score! Thank you very much!!!
There are disadvantages, not everything is thought out. But the location is near the Golden Horn Bay and the staff is good. There are many cafes around (although it is necessary to specify everything clearly when ordering, they can inflate), the main attractions are close, the tram stop is nearby, the store is around the corner. The Egyptian bazaar is three stops away or half an hour on foot, it has everything. The Grand Bazaar is higher from it, it is even bigger, but you have to climb up.
It seems that the hotel was built from improvised means over the garage ten years ago. It's not even about the small rooms and steep stairs. Each part seems to be made of different materials and is being repaired right now.
In the room where I lived, only the ants who live in the bathroom were comfortable. Almost everything in the room was broken or dirty. The mirror is cracked, the air conditioner barely worked, the shower is all in a raid, even the lamp falls off a little.
But most importantly: the hotel is located in a dangerous area. It was very scary to come back in the evening
No pretensions. I went alone - I stopped about. But I wouldn't go with a girlfriend or family. Everything is already old and dilapidated. Although the people who work there are wonderful - Vural, his wife Ela and Jeffar. And there's a cat living there and 2 dogs)
