It is located at the intersection of Gogol and K. Marx. It was built in 1936, and it served until 1945, when a children's cinema appeared in it, now it is rented out as an office. There are two churches in Brest, the second is located on Ordzhonikidze, but this one is included in the list of historical and cultural values. Brest, by the way, is the only city where there are two Lutheran churches. Come and see!
The terrible state of the architectural monument at the moment. Everything on both sides of the Soviet is hidden from the eyes of tourists and is living out its days. It could be restored and launched as an art space, or the cinema could be reopened so that the residents of the city would find another place for recreation or cultural development.
Now there is a warehouse of some organization there, and in Soviet times there was a cinema. But from the point of view of unusual architecture and history, it's worth a look.
A monument of Polish modernism, it is worth paying attention when passing by. The church is not functioning, there are some office premises inside, there is no entrance. The building could use a renovation.
At the moment, the office of bel prodmarket is located in this building, as well as the top of the tower, which was never a bell tower, is marked by the MTS Tower, framed by a metal frame. Which completely kills the entire architecture of the building, the once majestic structure languishes and dies due to the lack of major repairs, the exterior decoration crumbles about the interior is worth keeping silent. The tower, empty inside, is decaying from the constant improvement of the conditions of the capital structure. The only thing that reminds us that this knowledge once belonged to the Lutheran Church.
