Undoubtedly very interesting. It is definitely worth looking at the antiquities that have stood for more than 4 thousand years. Swim across the Nile and descend into the tombs.
We took a VIP tour, the cost was about 47 thousand for three people. A mini bus with two drivers and a personal guide was sent for us. In total, the tour lasts about 14 hours, of which 9 hours is the road from Hurghada to Luxor.
It is very beautiful and interesting. But it is better for Russians to go there in winter. We were in August, it was very hot. Running from Shade to shade
It was back in 2013, it was wonderful! Atmospheric and epic! To touch history and become a part of it for a moment! Beautiful and majestic!
The only two disadvantages are the road and the importunity of the locals!!!

It takes a very long time to get from Hurghada, about 6 hours. The guide promised 2-3 hours. In general, an interesting tour, but as always, various factories and shops, although they promised without them. Banana Island is generally a hat, it is unclear why they were brought there, but they lost time. Then there's some kind of alabaster factory where they sell plastic figurines. Kings are not brought to the temple. If you come for 10-14 days, you can go, if for a week, then you can waste your time. The tour lasts from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. Five hours of the total time are waiting, factories, roadblocks and banana island.
A very interesting informative tour of the museum, a good Egyptian guide told the life story of the pharaohs in detail. But it's very hot, you need to choose the right clothes for the tour.I liked everything very much, we took a lot of beautiful photos.
One of the places you definitely need to visit! Admires with its grandiosity! It is absolutely impossible to accept and realize the fact that this is all 3.5 thousand years old
Archaeological work continues, there are more and more new discoveries and finds, so you can come at least every 5-10 years, something else will be discovered.
We were very lucky with the guide (Basima), he turned out to be from the team of archaeologists. Showed which objects are genuine and which are restored. He took me to those places where the main part of tourists is closed. Our group walked alone through all these incredible places.
It was very interesting to watch and listen!
A very beautiful and interesting museum of antiquity. A large area with many sculptures and columns depicting Egyptian pharaohs and gods. I recommend visiting and touching the ancient civilization.
A very interesting museum. It is required to visit. We were on weekdays, there weren't very many people, we were able to take pictures everywhere. The area is huge, you can't see everything in an hour, but the main thing is preserved in the center.

The museum is not bad. I liked the unusual nature of a number of exhibits. For example, the tools of ancient construction engineers and the drawings of the projects of an ancient architect made on papyrus.
.
If you are in Egypt, be sure to go to Luxor, preferably for two days. This feeling that you are out of time cannot be described in words, no photos will convey this.
Are comments on antiquities really necessary? Of course, everything is great!
The only thing is that it is already VERY hot in March, so I recommend trips with walks in the winter months)
It's not worth it, half a day on the bus, then staggering through the ruins in the heat of 40+ and these Egyptians with papyri for a dollar just got it)
