Haven't been to Lyamus for ages & decided to celebrate an anniversary there . It used to be a nice, cozy , clean & tasty place in Vitebsk ; now it is just a place with heavy fatty food that tastes just like in a canteen.
.The photos of the dishes look lovely , the reality is different. The live music ( each visitor pays 3r ) was awful too , i guess he played just 4-5 songs but it was mentioned to be on fr 8 to 10 p.m. The chairs r uncomfy . There are no paper towels in the bathroom. The only plus - very friendly& charming waitresses.

This was our first visit and found it to be a great tucked away sports pub. The food was great and exactly what we expected to compliment the beer sets that we tried. The dark beers were tasty as was the Belgian ale. I'm sure we will return.

A great place for those who like to eat a lot, tasty and satisfying food. Fast service, a large selection of dishes of Belarusian cuisine, waiters who are familiar with the menu are undoubtedly a plus. For beer lovers, there is a private brewery, and for those who like stronger drinks, be sure to try the dashing and aggressive tinctures of their own production.
And of course, you have to come to this restaurant hungry, because the portions are sooo impressive and no one will leave hungry.

The most delicious beer in Vitebsk!
The interior of the place is very beautiful, stylish, spacious, cozy. Plus, the guys had a service to purchase gift certificates, I gave them to my parents and sister and they were satisfied.

An excellent brewery restaurant, a paradise for beer lovers and beer snacks. There are many different dishes of Belarusian cuisine in a modern interpretation. They do not cook quickly, but it is immediately clear that the dishes are prepared personally, and not heated. The portions are large, everything is very tasty.
There are several different beers on the menu, but in fact 3 out of 6-7 varieties are available (they warn in advance that not all are available).
The place is popular, so you need to book a table in advance, especially since there are few tables in the main hall.
The service is a bit lame, as it often happens in Belarus. Only 2 waiters for the entire restaurant is clearly not enough.
In general, we liked it, we recommend visiting!

An amazing atmospheric place! Everything is very tasty and at reasonable prices. The liqueurs are natural and delicious! There are several varieties of beer and they are also very tasty. I was surprised by the variety of dishes from pancakes!!! We definitely recommend this place! If you are traveling around Belarus and want to get acquainted with the flavor of traditional Belarusian cuisine, then Lamus is definitely worth a visit! Many thanks to the waiter Andrey, he helped us decide on the dish, remembered everything we ordered without a notebook and charged us with a good mood, a lot of impressions and gastronomic sensations, as well as compliments from the waiter and the establishment!!!! An excellent brasserie specializing in national dishes. Gorgeous bulba pizza!
The portions are huge! I wanted a bigger beer. during our visit, there were only 3 views, and that one ended during the evening.

Sooo nice restaurant! They cook delicious food, their beer is beyond praise. The service is at the highest level, special thanks to Valeria. An interesting interior. Serving of cutlery in national birch bark shoes, tableware with company logos. Such little things are extremely important in the restaurant business and leave a very pleasant impression! The interior is generally standard for beer restaurants - wood. But! Glass columns filled with dry grass in the crate of a weathered tree look very stylish and non-standard. I didn't like the cuisine, the beer is not tasty, for a restaurant that positions itself as a beer hall, you can think about a variety of varieties. And to cheer up the cook a little. The dishes are expensive, the menu is beautiful, but in fact it is not tasty. Disappointed. I looked at the answer. I am glad that the institution reacted this way. The impression is very twofold... They position themselves as an institution with authentic cuisine, interior-waitresses wear folk costumes, like the interior is rustic and wooden. It's beautiful, very colorful, But!!! on TV... Boxing, and from the column... Pop music. They asked to turn on music appropriate to the atmosphere of the institution, to which they received an answer: "everyone has different tastes, it's good music, we won't change anything." About the food. They carry it sooooo long, while the place was not crowded. But it's delicious, as always. There are no questions about this: it is very tasty and everything is freshly prepared. Another point "in the negative" is the path to the Lamus. It's all overgrown with grass between the tiles, it seems that no one goes here.

During a few days of a mini vacation in Belarus, the goal was to taste the local cuisine. It was not possible to do this for 4 days in Grodno, and at the end of the rest, when visiting Vitebsk, the choice fell on the Lyamus restaurant. And then it all came together. It looks like an unremarkable building, but inside the atmosphere is good and atmospheric. Tables, benches, partially wooden ceiling, dim light, super! And the main thing is the menu. The choice is awesome, there is absolutely everything for every taste and, finally, the local cuisine in all its glory. Deciding on the choice of dishes is not an easy task. Serving dishes is not fast (and that's a good thing), in branded dishes. The portions are large, you definitely won't be able to leave hungry. The price tag is very affordable, especially compared to restaurants in Russian cities, and even more so for such quality. In addition, there is also its own brewery, unfortunately, it was not possible to try the local beer. There is a brewing line inside the building behind transparent glass. The result is the same: all guests of Vitebsk should visit the Lyamus restaurant, a mandatory item of the program. Well done!

Oh guys, this place is certainly very versatile. To begin with, yes, it fulfills its function, there is food there. To be honest, the food there is very mediocre, I ordered borscht, broccoli, croutons and tea.

In general, to summarize, it is absolutely not recommended to visit, if you want to try the national cuisine, it is better to go to Cornflowers, in my opinion it is 1000 times tastier there.

This is not the first time we have been to Lyamus. Perhaps this is one of the most authentic establishments in the city. We booked a table in advance and did the right thing, there were no empty seats in the evening. The interior is thought out to the smallest detail, delicious national cuisine and homemade drinks. Good afternoon! I want to share our impressions of this place. If you are tourists, then this place is not for you, the residents of the city are clearly satisfied judging by the rating.
I am a tourist and it is impossible to close my eyes to obvious rudeness, because I am not used to this!
We chose this place to celebrate my birthday because we liked the concept of the restaurant, the place is very colorful.
But to the question "is there a discount in the dr?" the answer was "well, 5%", it would be better to offer dessert than to accept a discount with such a stretch.
To begin with, we ordered a bottle of Abrau Durso, draniki with a sponge, and a herring.
We planned to eat snacks and take hot food, but something went wrong....
We couldn't communicate properly because the waitress Valeria interrupted us unceremoniously with the question "can you order something else?"
Let me remind you it's our birthday, but of course no one cares about it and that at least you can try not to be rude.
The herring was not delicious, the draniki were just disgusting. And we realized that we had to leave this place. The question is "is there something wrong with the dish?" it came from the waitress, apparently she had heard something about the service after all. But the waitress did not listen to our feedback on the dishes and service. Apparently this information is not needed by this institution!
It was terrible, maybe it's a beer joint, but not even a cafe, much less a restaurant.

A restaurant where you are not ashamed to bring guests from far or near abroad or just recommend dishes of national cuisine. As a nice bonus, it's a pretty good beer brewed on the spot. This is darkness. The food is like in a cheap roadside canteen for the price of a restaurant. Borscht with rubbery, tasteless meat, a very small portion. All the pickles are abundantly filled with vinegar, tasteless. The draniki are greasy, and there is only one taste of butter. Dranik with pork - only veins in the meat. The tinctures taste like cheap vodka... It is impossible to drink. More than half of the beers on the menu are not available. All the wine is sold only by bottles, only the Alazani Valley by the glass. The order was waited for more than 40 minutes. Of the entire order, only the bread basket was delicious. The waitress refused to accept an order for a salad from the children's menu, arguing that it was only for children. And the waitress never smiled, why smile at the customers when you serve food like in a canteen.

I called this place in mid-December asking if it was possible to order delivery from them on New Year's Eve. The manager confirmed everything. On the evening of December 31, they refused and merged. Ugh, not a service.
And, responding to the comment of the institution, I will write: there was no talk of any pre-order with prepayment. The manager recommended simply ordering delivery via the app, but neither on December 30th nor 31st the app worked, so I called the restaurant to find out how to arrange delivery in another way. In general, I stand by my opinion about the level of service and definitely do not recommend contacting them when planning an important event.

Not a bad restaurant with delicious beer and hearty, though not the most delicious food. The atmosphere, of course, does not reach the level of a really good beer restaurant, although they clearly tried to do something in the Czech or German spirit, judging by the luxurious heavy wooden furniture and interesting interiors. Guests of Vitebsk definitely need to get here. The "Hell of Ivan the groom" is worthy of it (this dish, do not be afraid)!

We visited this place for the 2nd time and were disappointed. I liked it the first time, but now I don't. Borscht is sour and salty. One of the draniki dishes (I don't remember the name) turned out to be not fresh. 2 people tried it and agreed on the same opinion((. The washcloth was normal. The beer is delicious. The service is not fast. I had to go after the waitress myself and get the order accepted and the bill billed. I don't think we'll come back here. Let's look for an alternative place to eat draniki. The draniki themselves, by the way, aren't particularly tasty either.

The most favorite restaurant in Vitebsk! Special thanks to the chefs, delicious, with invention, with a twist of Belarusian cuisine. We have been there many times, and each time we are delighted. But there was one minus, I didn't take off the stars, but I want to point out one minus - the service staff. 26.09.23 a table for 7 people was booked, snacks were ordered in advance and paid for, at the time of arrival there was one sliced meat on the table and the rest was already under demand. The young lady serving our table introduced herself, but we didn't remember the name. It was extremely rare to approach the table, the extra utensils and plates that were freed from food had to be removed themselves to the next vacant table to make room for cake and tea. When I come to a restaurant, I want to relax, enjoy the food, music and the unique atmosphere of Lamus, so there should not be any incompetent people there. The waiter's service leaves much to be desired. You ask to bring food to everyone at the same time, they bring it as they want. You ask for coffee and dessert together at once, they bring it separately, you sit and wait for dessert for 20 minutes - of course the coffee cools down (redone, but still the impression of waiting is not the best). The kitchen is not bad, but it is not good 50-50 either. This institution still has something to strive for, although initially when we went there, expectations were high.
