The castle itself is not impressive yet, but it has a reserve to be a top place, since the view of the Neman River from a height is very beautiful and fascinating. Uhm... The further into the forest, the more firewood... Onion domes are put on the towers of the castle... Restoration on a free theme. If some fest or holiday does not pass, then it is done for 10 minutes. I checked in, took a picture, and then I'm on my way.

Among the advantages: the visit is free, the stunning view of the Neman River. Of the disadvantages, there is only an information sign at the entrance, or rather even 50 meters from the gate itself. And this sign is not very informative. Therefore, it is better to read the history of the castle on the Internet. I don't know if there are any excursions there, on Saturday afternoon there was not a soul in the whole castle, respectively, and it was impossible to get inside the buildings, well, at least the gates are open and you can enter the courtyard of the castle. If you are going to Lyubcha from afar, it is better to plan a route to visit something else along the way, since there are enough attractions in the vicinity.

We got there fine. The asphalt is almost to the castle.
You can enter the courtyard. Restoration is underway. Literally one and a half walls were made. A very beautiful view of the Neman.
In short, there is really nothing to look at, that's just for the sake of ticking off that I was in Lyubchansky castle. There are no cafes and canteens in the town itself. There is nowhere to eat.

The castle makes a much better impression from the outside than from the inside. In fact, there is no castle, there is one restored wall with two turrets on the edges, and one that is in the process. There are two crumbling buildings in the courtyard, where local students live, and a view from the cliff to the Neman. It is clear that people are trying to restore this place, but there is still a lot of work to do, so don't expect too much.

The castle is being restored by a unique man, Ivan Antonovich Pechinsky, who created a special fund and attracts volunteers to this activity, invests his own, alas, very limited funds. During all this time, Ivan Antonovich restored more than a third of the castle.

You need to come to the castle, sit on the shore of the picturesque and mighty Neman. Open the Internet and read the history of the castle... and then the ruins will become a castle....

The castle suffered greatly from the joint activities of the time and the Soviet era. However, those who are not indifferent breathe a second life into it. The territory is small, compared to our other castles. 2 towers and the wall between them have been restored. What's inside the turrets is a question, it didn't work out. The school building is undergoing renovation work.
The view of the river is just fascinating, very beautiful.
