There is not much to compare it with, because I chose a car rental company based on reviews. I will immediately note that I was not mistaken. The prices are adequate, the cars are fresh, serviceable, well maintained. I did not book in advance, I made arrangements already being in Ayia Napa. We took a NISSAN LAPTOP for four days, drove around everything that deserves attention, ran about 750 km, it took 80 euros for gasoline. The contract is very simple and transparent, no collateral and other payments, the deductible of 300 euros is prescribed in the contract, this is in case of an accident due to my fault, but honestly, with such traffic as in Cyprus, it is quite difficult to get into it, subject to basic caution, of course. In general, I am completely satisfied with the service and the company, next time I will not even look for them, I will go straight to them. I highly recommend it to owners of development and prosperity.

My wife and I have been vacationing in Ayia Napa for three times already, and for the second time we rent a transport in Macao. Always friendly Russian-speaking owners, who are pleasant to talk to , the cars are always technically sound, clean and well maintained. They do not take any collateral, it is enough to have a driver's license and passport. When renting for two days or more, it turns out to be significantly cheaper, and in one day it is unlikely that you will be able to go around all the beautiful places of interest. In general, I really liked the service of this company, and we can confidently recommend it for vacationers and if we fly to Cyprus again, we know exactly where we will turn to rent a car.

Excellent work by Anna and Andrey. We rested next door at the River Rock Hotel. We took a Nissan Match car. The car is fresh, clean, economical. We drove 600 km in three days. Thank you for the excellent service and the excellent car. We rented a Nissan Micra with a CVT. The price tag is one of the best on the coast, no additional costs. We drove more than 600 km - gasoline amounted to 40 euros (about 30 liters). Many thanks to the rental owners!
Andrey (if I remember correctly) do not scold the tape recorder in your car, Bluetooth works fine for him - the main thing is to set it up in the parking lot. Some functions are blocked in motion. Listening to music on the road is great. Cyprus Radio is not interesting))))

We rested in Agia Napa, next door at the River Rock Hotel.
We went looking for cars for a long time, in the end our choice fell and we decided to take a car to Macao, we were very satisfied.

Already on the second day of the vacation, we realized that the best transport in Cyprus is a car for rent.
First of all, we looked at the large aggregators and were horrified by the prices and conditions :
- 40 Euros per day for a car with mechanics
- deposit
- deductible of 900 Euros
- you need to go for the car, or pay for the delivery.
We started looking for small companies nearby and came across Macau . We looked at the location on the map and it turned out that the office is visible from the windows of our hotel (River Rock).

The office was small . The employees or owners (I do not know how to do it correctly) are calm people, without intrusive pleasantries.
There was no available car . They offered to take it in a day. We agreed and booked for 4 days (Thursday to Sunday).
Now according to the conditions :
- Kia Picanto car is fresh (mileage 38 thousand)
- Automatic transmission
- 35 euros per day (4 days - 140 euros)
- without deposit
- franchise under the contract -300 euros
- booster for a child - for free
- the car can be parked in a closed parking lot next to the office (as it turned out, although parking at the hotel is free, there are few places).

Now for the trips :
Thursday. We immediately drove to the shops - Lidl, Metro . We bought all sorts of goodies and little things)
We drove around the area . After all, a car is freedom. After dinner, we decided to go to Cape Cavo Greco (34.964085, 34.068108). We carefully got to the nearest parking lot and continued on foot.We met the sunset there. I recommend arriving there a little earlier, you will have time to take pictures and take the best place.
By the way. When renting, they warned that driving on primers is at your own risk .
Therefore, in the MapsMe navigator (it works without the Internet, I recommend), the "bypass dirt roads" mode has been turned on.
Friday. To come to Cyprus and not visit the mountains at the waterfall !? It's not about us. After breakfast , we pack a bunch of things , stop by Lidl for fresh pastries on the road and on the road.
40 minutes along the highway and an hour along picturesque mountain roads and we are in the mountains at Milomeri Waterfall (34.883838, 32.864985).
On the way back we stopped at Aphrodite beach, disappointed with another divorce for tourists. And let's go back.
Saturday. We rode along the coast . We visited the sculpture park . And we spent the rest of the day on Konnos beach (34.983946, 34.070085). It's a pity that the beaches are full of locals on weekends.
The beach is small , but cool. We rented a SUB (20 euros per hour) and went for a ride near the beach. I managed to see a sea turtle in the water!)
Sunday. We went to Fig Tree Beach ( 35.012826, 34.05871) . There are a lot of people . You can 't reach the water . But the water is crystal clear . In my rating, this is the best beach that we have visited during our entire vacation.
Finally, we stopped at the shops))) and we went to refuel to hand over the car .
As it turned out , gas stations operate in automatic mode on weekends. There are no people there , but payment via a terminal . Be prepared for this.
The car was parked at the office (they work until 16 o'clock), the key was given to the hotel reception.
Everything went perfectly, without nerves and pitfalls. I was satisfied with the rent .
Among the wishes :
- it would be cool to take a mobile phone holder with the car. On the mountain serpentines, the phone was very much in the way.

We rented a car in August 2021. Just like 5 years ago, everything is fine. Friendliness, speed of registration, transfer from the hotel to the office. We fulfilled a child's dream - to feed giraffes at the Paphos zoo. We definitely recommend Macau.)

Found in Masao, Russians living in Ayia Napa, wrote off on vacap and the price coincided with what is on the site for a total of 120 rubles for 4 days including insurance and gasoline tank for tank, offered Nissan micra (this is in Russia) a fresh 17 year old car, pleasant white-pearl color , nimble , drove 680 km , no problem, the car is very economical .
Thank you very much for a good car and pleasant service, and they came for us by car, took us away and we left on a rental car, but we didn't have to drive away because the guys took us from the hotel parking lot, we just left the keys at the reception!!!

The reasonable price for renting a car, the lack of collateral (in many companies some cosmic amounts from 500 euros), a fresh car in excellent condition, advised the best places to visit, which saved a lot of time. When issuing a car, they were taken from the hotel in Protaras and taken free of charge to the office (located in Ayia Napa), you could just hand over the car by leaving the car in the parking lot of your hotel, it is very convenient and customer-oriented 👍🏼 In general, everything was simple and as comfortable as possible. We had a rest with our family in the second half of September.Even before departure from Moscow, we booked a car with this company (via WhatsApp).Everything is OK, we have made plans.On the appointed day, when I came to rent a car, I saw a car leaving exactly the same as I had booked (well, I thought they had a lot of them, you never know).when I went to them, I heard the following story:reservations are made both by phone and online, i.e. two people can apply for one car "who got up first and sneakers".By this point, they no longer had cars "AT ALL." This is the first time I rent a car on vacation and such a setup.All they could do was apologize and say goodbye to me.Fortunately, the tour operator worked quickly, rearranging the plans a little, we still found a car (by the way, the tour operator's car turned out to be a crossover and for the same money as for a subcompact, they said we were just lucky, there were no other cars).So be prepared to rearrange your plans if you rent a car from them.I was not at all upset by this story, it was possible not to leave a review, but I wanted to warn tourists what they might encounter.

I chose the rental based on reviews. In turn, I consider it my duty to leave my response.
The guys are Russian, but with the temperament of real Cypriots (they have been living on the island for more than one year), that is, they are responsive and sociable. It's just nice to talk to them)
As for the conditions, they are the most attractive on the market. In my case, the franchise is 300 euros (in Cyprus, everyone has either a franchise or a lease for 5-7 euros higher per day and no deposit.
A booster was needed for the child and it did not burden the rental cost in any way.
In general, next time I will definitely take a car here.
Now about the car. This is the first time I've seen such a car at the box office.
Firstly, it is completely technically sound.
Secondly, Macao is given a rental machine for the same money that others charge for mechanics (and it would not be easy to ride with the right hand drive on mechanics, in Cyprus it is left-hand traffic)
Thirdly, the complete set of cars:
- start-stop system, which can help save gasoline
- a lane control system that helped when I reflexively pulled over to the curb, or the next row
- front and rear parking sensors
- radio with navigation and Bluetooth. We went on the smartphone, but the tape recorder knows the map of Cyprus. But you can connect music from your phone
- folding mirrors, which is very important for narrow streets and parking lots in Cyprus
- and an all-round viewing system that will display an overhead projection on the rearview mirror, a trajectory when reversing, and an image from the front or rear camera for safe parking. And while driving, it displays an image from the side camera of the side farthest from the driver.
- keyless access to the salon. It's enough to have the key with you. So I dragged it all 10 days in my backpack without taking it out. The car starts with a button if you have it in the cabin. It is especially convenient when you come from the beach covered in water and sand and need to throw some things in the trunk.
The car was picked up from the hotel by themselves. I didn't have to return it.
In general, I did not find a single flaw. I am very happy with the communication, the service and the car.

We took a Nissan March with my husband for 5 days (JUNE 2-6, 2021). Excellent service, friendly Russian-speaking staff who are always in touch. A deposit for the car is not required, full insurance + 10 euros to the cost per day. The landlords noted all the interesting places on the memo, in 5 days they visited all the sights of interest to us and were very satisfied. We definitely recommend this rental. It is very convenient that at the end of the rental the keys can be left at the hotel reception. We express our great gratitude to you for the service.

We found Macau according to reviews, due to staying at the River Rock Hotel, it turned out to be around the corner. Very friendly Russian people, signed a contract in 5 minutes, the franchise of 300 euros is not blocked, took a baby Kia Picanto 2019 for 3 days on the machine, with air conditioning. We took a ride in the mountains in comfort and coolness. Thanks to Macau for providing the car. Next time, just go to them for a Pickle!!!

We wanted to rent a car there.A boorish-looking man with glasses, who looks like Basilio the cat and with the same attitude, meets at the entrance. No hello, no goodbye. It feels like it's not us who came to get the service, but him to us))) I did not see the prices as loyal and adequate as people write in previous reviews. There is an office nearby with a more loyal price tag. It took us 3 minutes to leave quickly.With this attitude, you scare people away. He told me where to sit, "order yourself a limo and sit where you want" is the first phrase I heard. He speaks in raised tones. He started saying that he didn't owe us anything. On the first day, they came for bicycles, and left on a scooter. The price tag is adequate, the deposit is 50€. The guys are Russian-speaking, they told and showed where to go, all the advice from the heart and pure heart. We rode this bike all day and were very satisfied.
