One of the main attractions of Baku, a business card. The tower is also a museum. There are a small number of exhibits and interactive stands on each floor. There is an observation deck at the top of the tower, offering a beautiful view of the old town, the embankment, and the Nagorny Park. The ticket office is located next to the tower, the entrance costs 15 manats.

The Maiden Tower is located on the outskirts of the Old Town, near the embankment. It is easy to see from the embankment and find it due to its convenient location. The name of the tower is associated with an ancient legend about a girl who threw herself off it. The guide told us that in our time, local girls inspired by this legend also committed suicide by throwing themselves from the tower because of unhappy love. In this regard, the authorities decided to install fences on the observation deck of the tower to prevent such cases. In order to climb to the top of the tower, you need to walk up an atmospheric staircase with worn stone steps. It is necessary to watch with a guide, preferably a small group. Baku, including the Old City, is beautiful, atmospheric and at the same time comfortable (except for the narrow sidewalks in the old part, which is understandable, and the passion for steps. Shoes with upturned noses would be very useful for us there.
