The Orthodox church was built in 1904. In the temple, the miraculous Gorbanevsky icon of the Mother of God is the "Intercessor of the land of Poltava", found by a Cossack in an apiary near Poltava. The icon is painted on an iron leaf, decorated with a silver gilded chasuble and precious stones. Every Friday, an akathist is sung before the Intercessor.
