A great fortress. Many people write that they don't like it after the restoration, but I do not know how it looked under the Roman and Byzantine empires, so I appreciate what I saw. We got there in the morning (we were driving by), were alone, walked around and climbed the entire fortress. We went up every step and looked into every room. The stairs are very narrow and sometimes dangerous, which gives even more drive and desire to climb higher. It is interesting to see how everything was arranged, how the rooms and corridors of the fortress were connected. We really liked it. Usually we climb through the ruins and ruins of cities and fortresses, but here there is a whole fortress))). Interesting! In two days we "took" four fortresses, and I was delighted with Mamure. I recommend.

It's amazing! A gorgeous fortress on the very shore of the sea. There is a small beach with sandy access to the sea and right under the walls of the fortress, where you can get in and enjoy the calm water
