We were here in August 2024 with an excellent guide, she talked about everything so interestingly that I did not want to leave this place.
The Despot's Tower is one of the eleven watchtowers and defensive towers of Manasia. You can climb up to the narrow loopholes by an internal staircase — from here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding area.
The complex was declared a cultural monument of exceptional importance in 1979 and is under the protection of the Republic of Serbia.The monastery was included in the UNESCO tentative list in 2010.
