The hotel is in the city, there is no beach, but two good pools. The hotel is for 3+.
There are many foreigners of age, few Russians. A break from noisy companies is the best thing!
The rooms are simple, but it doesn't matter on vacation, especially when you only come to sleep. However, the bed and pillows are hard.
The staff is young guys, they hardly know English, they don't know Russian. In sign language and primitive phrases, you can easily understand each other.
The cuisine is varied, not a restaurant, but you will not stay hungry. The beer in the taps is good, we liked the white wine.
I'll get back to them.
A good hotel for a low price in the center of Bodrum Bay. Those who are used to the 1st line, large territories, shows, animations - there is none of this and for children only a pool with 1 water slide - the hotel may not like it! The playground was in the description. There are very few children!
The hotel is among the low houses of the private sector - 3 lines from the beach, near Migros, pharmacy and the whole tour. infrastructure on the street below and on the embankments. For the center, the sea is clear here, but the sunbeds on the beach are rented by a cafe, so the fee for a drink. (200 lira for a sunbed, as they said, not for the Mandarin hotel, but for others who are from boarding houses, and then they said so 1 time in one cafe Artemis, and they have their own hotel on the beach - this is June 2024).
One of the disadvantages is cleaning the room - the floor is washed no more than once a week. The maid changes towels and makes the bed every day.
One of the advantages is that the hotel itself and the territory are clean and green and blooming for a small area.
The hotel staff and waiters are trying their best! Good food, it changes every time; but of course there will not be a choice of 10 meat dishes; but 3 will be + fish + they cook outside and everything is delicious, not bad sweets / change, sometimes cakes are added.
The hotel is a budget 5*. IT is sold as 4*. Renovated main building with good plumbing.
The staff is friendly in moderation, they know a little Russian, responsive people will always help. You can extend the room for a fee, and weigh the luggage without.
In the evening it is beautiful on the embankment, instead of sun beds there are cafe tables.
The hotel has a Leon disco bar for everyone from 18 to 23 with local drinks and imported drinks included for a fee. Maybe in July, one of the musicians will be in an interesting outdoor restrancik with trees. I was there until the middle of June - soft background music is playing and a little louder in the afternoon by the children's pool. There are no hotels nearby. Companies don't stay long - the lobby bar is about nothing, the pool bar is only up to 18h. the hotel is quiet in the evening. After all, Bodrum itself is a hangout with disco bars and yachts. The hotel is suitable for car excursions along the Aegean coast and on any yachts. Scheduled ferries sail to Datcha, their ticket office is on the street of yachts and bars behind the castle and the mosque through the shopping street on the beach.
There are 2 otogars in the city. 1 n the nearest one is on the central street with chain stores 20 minutes from the hotel. To the Oasis shopping center from there dolmushi. A taxi of 20u.e. for 10 minutes of travel is expensive.
The city itself is not very suitable for trips by dolmush and on FOOT, it is normal to walk. Buses do not travel around the city, they mostly travel along the bays.
All roads to the beach from Mandarin are downhill - there will be slides! And you can even choose small hotels right on the beaches in this part of the city. Large hotels on 1 line with sandy beaches should be looked for in other bays, further from the center - Torba Bay, etc.
A good hotel, good food, cleaning, change of linen and towels daily, water, tea and coffee are brought to the room daily. Excellent location, the hotel has two swimming pools, you can find places near them, there is also one slide. But as for the beach…The hotel does not have its own beach, it is close to the sea, but it is problematic to find a place to sunbathe, there is a municipal beach, but you can relax there only for money, 300 lira for two.
Initially, they settled in a room at number 337, spent a day there, it's terrible! Outside the window of the cafe where football matches are broadcast, the window does not close (broken), almost everything is broken in the bathroom! As a result, the room was replaced with 317 next to the pool, a completely different matter!
The food is fine, not great, not bad, just fine! The pools are simple and not large, the territory is small, but you are in Bodrum, there is nothing special to do in the hotel!
It's a 5-minute walk to the sea, the sea is beautiful, very clean!
I've been back from this hotel for 2 days and I miss you already. I arrived early in the morning and was immediately checked in, although check-in is from 14.00. Very friendly staff. The suitcase was delivered to the room, everything was explained and told. The food is ordinary, those who are used to eating in Michelin restaurants, you are not here, but I liked the food, varied, local dishes, grilled, you will not stay hungry. There are 2 pools, for adults and areas for kids, there is a separate slide and for older children. One restaurant is closing, the pool is opening. Juices, coffee, tea and something hot are also available. The girl Elena, who works as a massage therapist, speaks Russian, if you can contact her. In general, I liked everything, I will definitely come back. Moreover, the hotel is in the city center, the main thing is not to get lost. Take care of the Internet beforehand, it's the only one that works in the city, and the hotel has excellent Wi-Fi at the reception and by the pool, it doesn't catch well in the room. The staff does not speak Russian, keep this in mind, prepare an online translator. In general, I'm happy. Thanks to the staff, very good-natured.
I don't understand people who rate a hotel less than 5 stars. Arrived this morning, checked us in early for free. The staff is very polite, probably few people speak Russian, but it is strange to fly to Turkey without knowing at least its basic level. The food is varied. There were water bottles, instant coffee and tea in the room, all included in the price. We were just in time for lunch. Sweets are a dime a dozen, 15 types for sure. Vegetables are stewed and fresh, there is meat and fish, fruits too. There are several places where you can eat (pool bar, main cafe, snack bar. The room was given not in the main building, but in a bungalow. It is EXCELLENT, a huge plus that there is an exit to the terrace. WiFi catches throughout the area perfectly. The air conditioner is new, all the furniture is also new, as is the bathroom, the renovation is clean. The keys are electronic. The pool is clean, there are 2 slides. The bed linen and bath are clean. The hotel also has a great location, everything is within walking distance. I definitely recommend it!!!
For the money we gave for the rest, it's very good. I have promoted Russian hotels of about this level. It turned out to be much more expensive. Therefore, it does not even make sense to discuss the shortcomings that had little effect on the rest. The most important thing in this hotel is the atmosphere!!!
The main exhibits. We were able to agree on the price for a room for three people for the night instead of 7000 liras for 4000 liras, the staff is good, at the counter you can ask for additional shampoo, balm, gel, toothpaste, brushes and so on. The food is great, we only had breakfast included.
A normal hotel, a lot of food, varied, if you live a week or two. The price-quality is decent (pay through services with cashback). There are 2 swimming pools, slides work. We read a lot of negative reviews, in fact everything was fine. The sea is 5 minutes away. There is a cafe on the embankment that works only in the evening, where you can sit on their sofas for free during the day, in paid orders for a nose from 10 bucks (with a sunbed).
Great hotel in Bodrum. Convenient location, 10 minutes walk to the sea. Delicious food, quite varied. Cozy rooms, there are two swimming pools on the territory. I would like to go back there again.
We have long wanted to relax in Bodrum precisely because of the Aegean Sea.The Mandarin Hotel was chosen based on photos and reviews. We knew that the hotel does not have its own beach, but you can safely rent a sunbed on a public beach for a drink. That's not so.Maybe you can score a point sometime. But in 2023, in June and July, sun beds were priced separately on the entire coast, starting from 200 lira (700r).There is a public beach with broken sun beds and old mattresses-that's where you can spend time for free. From the Mandarin we go out onto the embankment and turn left.We walk for 10 minutes. If it's real in the morning, then in the evening it's very hard in the heat.We just sat down at a table in a cafe, took drinks and swam. The road to the sea itself is not stressful, as described in the reviews, you can reach the sea in two ways. But the shorter (100m shorter) path goes through such smelly garbage dumps that we decided to walk a longer but pleasant path for ourselves. In general, the city itself is dirty. There are piles of garbage everywhere, I did not expect this from the city center: (Let's go back to the hotel.Ask for rooms in the main building right away, as the rooms in the "bungalow" are old, the air conditioners are antediluvian.Despite the fact that I wrote to the hotel, they initially gave me a terrible room with access to a nearby bar, where even with the windows closed, music was playing very strongly-it was impossible to sleep, even with the windows closed.Plus, the old condey eye is right on the bed.Fortunately, we managed to change the number the next day. Thanks to Manager Abdula. My husband had a doctor that day, and we received a plate of fruit from the hotel-and thanks for that. The hotel's greatest strengths are its food and pleasant staff.Food-breakfast, as written in many reviews, is the weakest. From the hot, only cereal with milk and an omelet, which is fried by 1 cook and in a huge amount of butter: (Pancakes for 10 days were 1 time and then-so-so…Everything else is cheeses (all smoked), sausages (soy and sour), boiled eggs, muesli, jams, greens, bread…That's how we had breakfast every day -a piece of bread with butter, an egg and a cucumber... a bagel with jam..
Lunches and dinners are much better. They always grilled something. And thanks to the cook, I didn 't overdo it .The fish is beyond praise.Afternoon tea from 17-18 is the simplest cookies. From 14-17-potatoes and burgers.Drinks are also modest.Red, white, pink wine-bottles.Beer is on tap.Quite.Strong drinks are local. They don't know how to make cocktails. There is no champagne, and neither is Ayran.Turkish coffee is paid, as is ice cream.Juice chemistry (of the Upi type).
The cleaning in the rooms is weak, the linen has not been changed all the time…There is no animation, no.Only the music by the pool and a couple of times the girl sang at dinner. The children's room is dead, as is the playground. There is no volleyball either.Water slides are among the entertainment options. The pools are nice and clean.Wi-Fi is free, but the charge in the rooms is bad, the lobby is better.Probably a couple of people speak Russian, one of whom is Elena at the Spa.In the evenings, you can walk along the embankment, there are many shops, beautiful streets. The price tag in the cafe is just a horse. To sit modestly in 4m-at least 4-5000r.
I am unlikely to return to this hotel and Bodrum itself again.
Plus one- the location of the hotel, 5 minutes to the sea. Cons- the room was cleaned daily, but not efficiently. The bed has not been changed ONCE in a week. There was always dirt on the floor. There is no staff. Moreover, they also tried to deceive us at the check-out: they asked us to order a taxi to the airport (it costs 600 liras), at the reception, they said they could not get through (!!) to the taxi, but there is a transfer for 1800 liras. As a result, we walked with our suitcases to the nearest taxi stop. It's called a "divorce." All inclusive, everyone has their own taste, I won't say anything, but I'll just add that in a week I ate an omelette and two peaches there twice. It's not 5 stars, of course. It's three stars, no more. The price tag for a day is artificial.
If it's a five, then what's a four and a three here?
The hotel has no territory at all! I'm not talking about entertainment. There is no beach either! Sunbeds on the city beach are PAID, provided that you buy something in a cafe.
This is probably the worst place I've been.
The vacation is ruined. You SHOULDN'T even come here for 10,000 rubles! I'm not talking about the current prices.
There is no guide upon arrival and no one can answer when he will be there!
DON'T SPOIL YOUR VACATION!
City budget hotel. The contingent is mainly Turks. Meals according to the price tag. The staff is responsive! There are good rooms in the main building. The bungalow, in places, smells of sewage.
Nice hotel. Very convenient location. The city center and the beach are about 7 minutes away. There is not much food, but it is very tasty cooked. The staff is polite. Upon arrival, they bring a welcome)
We just returned from the hotel yesterday. In fact, we liked everything in general. Yes, maybe not the most luxurious hotel. But! There is a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and very involved, caring staff. Alcohol and drinks are also delicious, not diluted. You can eat from 7.30 to 21. Drink until 23.00. Good pools, clean, do not stink of chlorine. There is also a hydro massage, but for some reason it did not work. A children's pool, two slides, on which everyone from young to old rode). The sea is directly 300 meters away. But we always went a little further to the right - there is more sand, and to the left there is a state beach. The sea is wonderful, calm, clean, refreshing. Our room was nice, the bed was big and comfortable.in general, in the room, everything is as stated on the website and in the photo. We've had bed linen changed three times in a week, towels changed 4 times, but I think they change every day, we just had the do not disturb button on for two days. There is a minus - there is a small mold in the shower in the corners and cleaning of the room itself for 4. The guys clean superficially. But this did not affect the quality of accommodation in any way. We were comfortable. Another disadvantage is that they do not speak Russian, but with the help of the Internet, everything can be translated, especially since the staff is very responsive. Upon check-in: we arrived at 10 a.m. three couples. They immediately gave out bracelets and sent them to have a snack, drink, and generally fully enjoy the benefits of the hotel. We were given the keys before twelve, two couples even earlier, as the rooms were vacated. Check-out is at 12. But we had a transfer at 7 p.m. We left our suitcase at the reception and spent the whole day in the pool. We had lunch and snacks at the snack bar and the pool. It didn't even make sense to extend the room for a late check-out, especially since the pool has a bathroom, shower, hairdryer. And without a room, there is a place to put yourself in order. Bottom line: I liked the hotel, Bodrum is just great. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Mandarin
One star, because when they arrived home they found that three things were missing. After analyzing it, we realized that the jacket was taken out during the stay (not worn, hung in the closet), a new hoodie with a tag on the day before leaving the closet (we were already preparing things for packing in a suitcase, some were packed), and a shirt from a stack prepared for storage in a suitcase. At the exit, the number was checked - nothing was left. The receiving party went into silence, nothing was found out a week after the appeal.
We were with our daughter in August 2021, which justifies the price we paid, although there are problems with cleaning, otherwise it is very good! A decent city hotel!
