The advantages of the hotel: fresh rooms, beautiful views from the balcony- pool, mountains. Very close to the beach (200 meters), grocery store-50 meters.Cons of the hotel: poor, miserable breakfast. Does not correspond to a 4* hotel. And...the most important thing is that it is very noisy. There is a large bar just behind the hotel wall. It hammers until one o'clock in the morning.Closed windows don't help much. Plus, there is an indoor bar on site. It can be hammered up to 12 at night. A quiet, peaceful rest will not work. The hotel is a hangout. Poor sound insulation of the rooms. I can hear everything! Slamming doors, talking, and so on. A lot of Englishmen. They can hang around the rooms until morning. In terms of location, Oludeniz. Everything is very beautiful! It's picturesque! But....wild prices for everything!!! for example, two sun beds and an umbrella - 600 liras! I advise you to buy an umbrella in the store and sunbathe on the beach on your own towels!
I was on the STANDARD ROOM ROH SINGLE USE (Breakfast) program in room No. 602 from the end of September to the beginning of October 2024.
Minuses:
As soon as I checked in, I immediately looked around and found no water and no cups either. There were no cutlery. Check-in was in the evening, I decided to go to the local grocery store right away. When I returned, I found that there were no towels either. I thought that this is how it should be and towels are not included in the price. This is my second hotel, I don't have much experience with these stars and what's behind them. As a result, I bought my own towels. Then I saw towels being brought to another guest at the reception. I thought it was very strange that you need to ask for towels and why the hotel does not immediately put them in the room by default. Or maybe it still depends on the program? ...
The next day I decided to go to the beach and wanted to leave my valuables in the safe. In the past, a 4-star hotel in Fujairah (UAE) had a safe with a digital lock right in the room in the closet. There was nothing like that here. I asked at the reception if there was a safe. I was told that all valuables can be left right in the room and put them deeper into clothes, clothes deeper into a suitcase, and a suitcase deeper into a closet and assured that in this case there is nothing to worry about. Then I noticed that in the hall there are safes with two locks and, it seems, in sufficient quantity so that each guest has his own safe deposit box. But I did not find out the details, perhaps the safe was on preventive maintenance or was not included in my program.
There is one shirt hanger and one for trousers in the closet. But I took two shirts. It was not very convenient. Especially a double room.
The blanket is very thin, for one person, and if the air conditioner is turned on at night (in the evening, it's too hot before going to bed), then I often froze, woke up and turned off the air conditioner. The air conditioner itself is weak, but it copes in the fall.
The smell of sewage all the time. Especially during frequent use of the bathroom by guests (morning, evening). If you leave the balcony open, it is more or less normal. Well, then you get used to this smell and you don't feel it.
There is no phone to contact the reception. We have it ourselves, but there is no phone. As I understand it, some other rooms have it.
The biggest disadvantage against which all other disadvantages fade is noise. Noise from two sides. From the entrance and toilet side (the toilet has an opaque window for air circulation) and from the balcony side. The noise sources are also different. The hotel itself is located on the corner of two streets. The first is the busiest central street in the city and there is a pub adjacent to the hotel with football broadcasts and a bar. Another street adjoins the first and across the street there is something like a restaurant (where the music usually stops earlier and you can open the balcony door). These establishments have their own animator, the presenter, and he periodically encourages the audience by singing along into the microphone or shouting something. The repertoire is the same every day. The same songs every day. You can even torture with it. There's even a baby shark on their playlist. All this traffic usually ends at one - thirty, sometimes it was possible to fall asleep to this noise after closing the doors to the toilet and to the balcony. But even after closing all the doors, the noise is still very noticeable. Earplugs don't help at all. The sound insulation is very poor. You can't hear what's going on in the neighboring rooms, but everything that happens in the lobby is more than that. The doors are designed so that in order to close the room, it is enough just to slam the door. Then it can only be opened with a key. I often woke up in the morning from these constant slamming by other guests. But he came to breakfast at 8:00 almost first. And in general, all these noises from the corridor - slamming doors, loud conversations are quite uncomfortable.
Otlel has other buildings on the territory. Maybe it's not so noisy there. My room was in close proximity to the noise sources.
What I was missing in the room:
- cutlery
- glasses, cups, boiling water
- clothes dryers
- hygienic shower
The area itself is a resort. Many things are not to be found. Or very expensive. For example, a SIM card of 1850 liras in Fethiye was found for 1250 liras in TurkCell.
Positive
Shower gels, hair conditioner, shampoo are available, but not used. I like to use soap (I take soap with me).
The balcony, door and window open onto the courtyard and the mountains. On the balcony, the air conditioners make a monotonous noise.
There is a small refrigerator.
Hair dryer.
Bedside tables.
There is a good a101 store next to the hotel.
The TV has 20 channels, there is Bloomberg in English and Russia24. The rest of the channels are in Turkish. The television itself is analog.
The beach is 3-5 minutes away.
Friendly staff. I spoke English with everyone.
There are no cockroaches. Rooms are being processed
Cleaning almost every day. Taking out the garbage and what it seems to them. A new roll of toilet paper. I had accumulated 4 rolls and 3 more were opened, apparently from a previous guest. Mopping the floors. Making the bed. The towels were not changed because I have my own. But it was also neatly folded (once it was probably confused with its own).
Rich breakfast (from 8:00 to 10:30):
Breakfast cereals, cornflakes, waffles, etc.
Apples, plums, melons, grapes.
Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, olives, olives, lettuce and herbs.
Various sauces.
Halva, chocolate cupcake
Omelet (sometimes burnt), shakshuka, boiled eggs, baked vegetables, French fries, sausages, beans.
Different types of cheese.
Tea, coffee from the vending machine.
The Turkish omelet is cooked right in front of you. And pancakes too.
As I understand it, the hotel only has breakfast. Then the dining room closes and you can use the bar (I didn't use it).
Other
There are separate buildings in the courtyard, a swimming pool in the center (not used).
The sea is clear and transparent visibility is 12 meters
The coast has a complex shape with many rocky islands, coasts and bays.
Paragliding. There are up to several dozen paragliders in the sky at the same time.
There is a place to go for a walk. Along the mountain trail to the abandoned city of Kayakey. Through the forest to the secret beach. Walk along the Lycian trail. Climb Mount Babadag by telerefic. Go to Fethiye. Etc.
You can forgive everything for the proximity of the beach and the Blue Lagoon. It's noisy because of the proximity of the bar, the breakfasts are pretty standard)) In general, it would be nice to add a kettle and glasses to the rooms. The staff is very pleasant.
August 2023. The food is passable. The rooms are cramped and not cozy. The service is poor - they respond to requests reluctantly or forget at all. The location is a large gathering of street crowds, everything is crowded with cars at the entrance to the hotel - in the evening in 3 rows, 10 minutes on foot to the city beach, 27 minutes on foot to the blue lagoon (1750m). The staff does not speak Russian. There was no silence in the room - music from the bar behind the wall until 2 a.m. The rooms are dirty - the room was replaced, but the sewer system did not work in both - they said that it was the same in all rooms. Rest with problems. The city beach is dirty (large ships park right there) especially the sea, besides the sea has no bottom - you pass 5-7 meters and there is an abyss under you. The blue lagoon is cleaner, but the same abyss is under water. The kitchen is without frills.
Not a bad hotel by local standards. Still, it would be nice to be quieter in the evenings after 23.00. But this is already a feature of the local "cultural" recreation))) And Suleiman has a separate respect for a good administrator 👍
A terrible hotel (it looks decent ( very expensive , you can find 4 stars much cheaper, a hotel like montebello. The Marcan Hotel is one disappointment! They do not give slippers , water , a kettle , the rooms are damp , long check -in , tea must be bought at the bar for 50 lire , bottled water is sold for 20 lire
A very poor breakfast
Dishes not washed
The outlets do not work , there is dampness and dust everywhere .
Fortunately , I had to spend one night !
How is the gypsy courtyard the courtyard of the hotel
I stayed at this hotel from June 30 to June 8, 2024. When buying the tour, I saw its low rating on other resources. Among others, people called noise before 1-2 nights the main problem. Due to the fact that I am an owl, I decided to take a chance and go to this hotel. After all, living so close to the sea is wonderful! And you can wait out this noise, for example, at sea, or go to this club yourself)))
The hotel has its pros and cons.
Positive:
1. Ideal location - near the sea, the main street, there are many shops and cafes around.
2. Food - only breakfast was included in the tour - the breakfasts are quite decent, you can eat, there are no meat products on it, a lot of vegetables and fruits, they will make omelets, pancakes, there are hot snacks. It's hard to stay hungry.
3. Quick solution of everyday problems.
4. The territory of the hotel is small, but very clean.
Cons (unfortunately there are more of them):
1. The location is next to the night bar, but if you are party people, then this is a plus. Loud music, strong vibration until 1-2 nights.
2. They clean normally - they give a lot of towels, the linen is clean, snow-white. But my favorite perfume was stolen from my bag ( and several hundred rubles ((
When I informed the hotel manager and the owner about this (a young family owns the hotel: a Turk and a Ukrainian girl) they just apologized, without compensating for the incident in any way.
In general, cleaning is normal for Turkey, visible dust is removed, garbage is taken out and the floor is slightly wiped with a damp cloth.
3. Very poor wifi - worked only at the reception and by the pool. I was on the balcony too, but I didn't reach the room anymore.
4. Very intrusive staff in the dining room, constantly coming up, trying to please, then find out how old, etc., at first funny, then tedious.
5. The dining room is very stuffy, there are also few tables outside, the existing canopy does not save them from overheating (they are made of glass)
6. There is no cooler with water anywhere: neither hot nor cold. But you could ask for a cold one at the bar when there is a bartender - he will pour it.
7. The bar itself is very expensive - a cup of tea from a bag of 60 lire, beer from 180. Turkish tea was only at breakfast.
All these moments, it seems to me, are more than compensated for by a very beautiful sea and surroundings! Miracle and beauty)
The village of Oludeniz itself is a rather expensive resort, if you go with your family, then the best solution would be to go to the all-inclusive food system and the problem of how to eat at exorbitant prices will be solved at the time of purchase of the tour)))
There is also an opportunity to see this beauty from a bird's-eye view, but this is already in another review.
In general, if you are prepared for such imperfect moments, and in general for a very noisy place, then you can go to it.
If nothing had been stolen from me, I would have given this hotel a 4, but since it was stolen and did not react in any way, the rating is 1.
It took a long time to settle. Problems with booking. They don't speak Russian. The breakfasts are weak. The room was not chosen the first time. The location is convenient, but there is a noisy bar nearby, which ends up making noise closer to two, keep in mind. The staff is interesting, helps to solve problems, but we came to rest...
A lovely hotel with excellent breakfasts and location.
The bathroom smells damp, as others have already written, but I was not in the room during the day, and at night I closed the door there - and there is no problem
Pros: close to the beach, good varied food, friendly staff.
Cons: noisy, very noisy until 2 a.m. (behind the wall is a street of bars), I had to buy birushi. Dirty- there is an announcement about cleaning every 2 days, but they clean less often, well, as they clean, on the 3rd day they came in and put dirty towels on the bed and that's it. On the 4th day after the complaint, they cleaned better, even the smell of chlorine was felt, but the shower cabin was not removed at all, but they threw out a package of vital supplies for the disabled person (they found it in the trash and returned it, but they were ready to buy everything that was thrown away). After that, the cleaning came every day, the cleaning company cleans it. There is no iron in the hotel at all.
Before the trip, I read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel, but, in my opinion, some estimates are unfairly underestimated. I will try to tell you objectively
Positive:
1. The sea. The sea here is beautiful, clean, warm, located within a five-minute walk, the beach is never too crowded. The beach is surrounded by beautiful mountains on both sides. I advise you to take towels from home so that you can lie down / sit on the beach. You can also buy an umbrella here if you become completely unbearable to roast in the sun. The beach is pebbly, it hurts to walk barefoot on pebbles, so if you have slippers for pebbles, take them!
2. Food. I have read a lot of bad things about food, but I do not know where such reviews come from, I am delighted with the food. The food is very tasty, varied, there are various vegetables and herbs in great abundance, I discovered a partulak here - I highly recommend it! Delicious soups, soups, salads with sour cream, pasta, kebabs, porridges are prepared here. They are fed three times a day + a snack bar is open after lunch, where you can pick up junk food or fruit
3. Staff. The hotel employs very friendly guys, not all speak English, but they are very friendly, funny and always ready to help)
Minuses:
1. Furniture and plumbing. For me, this is a minor disadvantage. Yes, the door handles are loose somewhere, there is a plaque on the plumbing somewhere, but you get used to it quickly, and it does not interfere. In addition, if you spend little time in the room, it will not cause inconvenience
2. Loud noises at night. This is a bigger problem than plumbing. At night, movement begins by the pool, music is turned on very loudly, karaoke, someone speaks into the microphone (so loud that it is uncomfortable to talk on the phone - it was possible to talk only at the reception). If you are a very light sleeper, then most likely it will cause inconvenience. It wasn't a big problem for me; when you lock the room door with a key, it becomes bearable. Bring earplugs / headphones with noise reduction - they will definitely come in handy. But, again, even without them, you can sleep with music. It turns off at about 2 a.m.
I will write separately about the excursions. On the street leading to the sea, you will be constantly offered excursions. I advise you to pay attention to them, because they are much cheaper than the hotel guide)
I wish you a good rest!
I liked the hotel as a whole. Clean, well-groomed, cozy! The staff is friendly. The food is monotonous, but there is enough of it and there is plenty to choose from, you will not stay hungry!
Basques, sun beds, everything is in good condition. They write that it is 5 minutes to the sea, in fact not, 2-3 minutes to it))
The only negative for me is that at night, up to two o'clock, almost every day the music from the clubs screams, then silence. But my wife and daughter generally fall asleep as soon as they go to bed, they were not bothered by the music.
I would come back again. Like it.
You can lie on the basik or on the sea all day, look at the sky and watch the paragliders! High!
The beach is pebbly, medium size, barefoot is not a thrill to walk. Either you need shoes. Or endure it. We went to kidrak beach a couple of times, nearby, there are generally small pebbles, a buzz! Foot massage!
I had a rest in September 2022, a cozy hotel, clean rooms, delicious varied food, a magnificent clean, warm and amazingly beautiful sea nearby, a pebble beach, ... the staff is friendly and attentive. There is a pedestrian street nearby, where it is cozy and delicious to walk in the evening. There are many amazing and exciting excursions. Oludeniz is a fabulous place.
I really liked the hotel, everything is there for a good rest, the food is delicious, the room is cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly. The beach is nearby. It's just the thing for a party!
In front of the entrance to the super hotel there are vases made of old iron barrels in which passers-by extinguish cigarette butts. The whole street near the hotel is crowded with cars, the transfer cannot drive up to the hotel entrance, they went back and forth with suitcases to the next street. A complete renovation of the hotel is required. The rooms are old, the plumbing is full of trash (showers leak constantly on the floor, shower drains do not work, toilet covers are dirty yellow, etc., etc.), windows and doors are broken and do not close. The nightclub behind the wall of room 605 (as in all rooms of the reception building) buzzes until 02:30 at night. There is no gym. The only citrus fruits in the restaurant are oranges. Safe No. 8 was opened with one key of the reception employee, although it should have been opened with only two keys - the reception key and the one issued to me! The sea is nearby, but not always clean due to the constant movement of ships. To a more or less beach 1750 meters on foot (25 minutes one way). A small plus: 6 days out of 9 different fish were served, but this coincided with the rest at the hotel of a large group of Turks, as soon as they left, the fish disappeared. There is no meat, only chicken. There is no porridge. The juices are terrible, heavily diluted with water. Plus: there were no mosquitoes, no flies, no insects bothered. The room is cleaned and towels are changed every day only if you pay a tip. The pool is small, not completely clean. The reception completely ignores the requests, I tried to solve all the problems through the tour operator. There is no entertainment for children. The "animation" was the same once a week. The hotel does not have a territory, there is a building and a swimming pool in the center and that's it. The air conditioners are old, they blow, but they do not cool even when set to 16 degrees. The rooms are mostly double and when accommodating 3 people, all three beds are side by side without aisles. There are more rooms, there are few of them and they are all next to a nightclub where music screams until 2:30 am every day
Close to the beach. The room in the large building 828 is not large with a view of the pool. They clean every 2 days, change towels. The food is monotonous. There are many varieties of dishes, but it's the same every day. There were 2 fish in 6 days. Mostly chicken pieces in a vegetable stew. There are a lot of fruits and pastries (this is for 5). It's very noisy.
We stayed at the hotel from 08/21/2018. First we were put in room 406. It was very small, there was a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom, the shower did not work. We informed the administrator about this. The next day we were relocated. Suite 606. Very nice. But there's a Cherry Bar behind the wall. The music, the beats were so loud until 01:30 midnight that the wall, floor, ceiling vibrated. A warning about the danger to health and hearing appeared on the watch. After two sleepless nights, with a call to the police, with a morning headache, with a broken regime, we just recovered on the coast until one o'clock in the morning, sat or lay on sun beds, then came to the room.
The dining room is clean, the food is normal, the staff is friendly and unobtrusive.
The beach is magical. It is easy to get to it on foot. Everything would be very good if it weren't for the wasted nerves, sleepless nights, and finding time to sleep in the morning and afternoon.
For fans of night parties, this is the best thing. For a family vacation-think about whether you need a headache for your money?
We stayed at this hotel from 1.09 to 09/12/2021. excellent hotel, delicious food, good rooms, the sea with the city beach is a 3-minute walk away. Good service staff. Special THANKS to the manager, he always asked the vacationers if everything was okay, helped in a difficult moment. A large selection of everything your heart desires near the hotel. It is a very beautiful region. Thank you so much for a great vacation!
Noisy from the cafe at night. Everything is disgusting, there is absolutely no alcohol (red white wine, beer, gin and vodka) that's all. The service is very pleasant, the staff is polite, the room is good.
Poor breakfast , lunch and dinner are average . You can eat . Beer and wine , as well as drinks with a watery tint . Bad wi-fi. The water was turned off twice and the light was turned off once . Probably such a hotel is worth its money.
Dirty dishes, cleaning krmnat adds domestos to the floor washing water and does not wash it off. To a whole strange place. It is clear that the management puts a lot of pressure on the staff, but this is of little use
During the week of rest, there was never a cleaning, towels were never changed. The food in the restaurant is conditionally edible and available only 15 minutes after opening
We visited Marjan beach in Turkish on September 27 to October 4, 2018. We wish to visit more, but only longer. Everything is fine, the hotel is cozy, cleaned every day, the hotel staff is friendly, Malik is separately respected, the sea is 4 minutes from the hotel. The food is clear. In general, everything is cool, I advise you to visit
Good afternoon,
We rested from 06/10/19 to 06/20/19.
Friendly staff, proximity to the beach, good and varied cuisine. The sea is incomparable, the beach is calm.
Minuses:the proximity and noise of the nightclub.
Excellent cuisine, convenient location, cool sea.
A calm and measured rest, without fuss and silence.
We only spent the night at the hotel. WiFi is not very good.
The star rating is 3, but the staff is good, and the food is very tasty and varied. Plus the convenient location . It is better to move into the building away from the reception, because there is a bar nearby and discos at night until 12 at night, there is a lot of audibility in the rooms.
