A great place, we got there on our own using Yandex. Navigator. The caretaker and keeper of this place is a very kind and sociable Person, he told me everything, showed me everything, allowed me to go upstairs, walk around. He told me how the village used to live, how it is now, and finally explained how to get to the round tower. Thanks a lot to him. In general, people in Azerbaijan are very responsive

It would seem that there is no official museum escort, it is not close to Baku, and there is nothing inside the fortress of Posti except the tower. However, thanks to the local caretaker, who has been looking after the object for more than 40 years, and he also conducts an excursion) filling it with color and even, one might say, comfort, visiting the fortress is one of the most memorable events.
The floors in the fortress were almost driven away, and the stairs in one of the towers are half-worn and uncomfortable steps.
However, it is very atmospheric. And the view from the roof of the fortress is breathtaking (maybe partly from the fact that it seems as if it will now disappear from under your feet))).
Anyway, visiting this fortress is seven times more interesting than the maiden tower in Baku. And it's so much cheaper. In fact, it is free, but to leave a few manats to the caretaker as a thank you is not necessary, but I want to).

A magnificent historical monument, and especially its caretaker. We got to know this place and this wonderful man with great interest. Vidadi, or as he appears - Valera, served as a paratrooper in the Soviet Army and is very sorry that the Soviet Union collapsed.
